At the end of february there was plenty of parking available and it was very quiet though there were a few other guests. The internet only worked in certain puplic areas, which is not very convenient. We forgot our own pillows and 2 days later got notified from the hotel about this. Very good. The staff tries the best but seems a bit untrained and not very confident. The breakfast was a bit of a disaster, not even fresh bread or fresh rolls. Overall the stay was good, the rooms are very clean and I would again choose this hotel (just because of the parking and within 10 minutes you are in the city center by bus).

Nice and quite hotel. The welcoming was really nice. The room was spacious. We asked for a room for 4 (2 adults and 2 children), and we were happy to have 2 REAL beds for our children. The bathroom was well equipped, very clean. Juste a little problem with the shower.

We were travelling around Italy on a motorcycle tour. Although we were very pleased with the hotel, we had a terrible experience finding our way around Genova. The hotel was excellent although a long way from the historical centre. If we were going to Genova again we would stay at this hotel. Our experience of Genova, however, means that we will not be visiting this dirty, overcrowded city again.

Belle ancienne demeure. Parking assuré. Loin du Centre à visiter .Peu de renseignements pour s'y rendre et revenir le soir.Mériterait une navette (comme à La Spezia). Pas ou peu de restauration à proximité de l'hôtel , ou médiocre. Pas d'internet.

Nice hotel, clean rooms. Lady in the reception was very concerned and helpful. Some far from the city center and arriving to the hotel may be problem without a car. Breakfast is basic. Price is a little high for what you get.

It's a great hotel for not too high a price. The only disadvantage is that it is located pretty far from the center of Genova and it's a steep 20 minutes walk up from the public autobus stop. On the other hand it's not far from the public beach. Besides, the taxi is not too expensive in Genova - a trip from the city center to Hermitage Hotel is approximately 8 euros. I think for those travelling by car it's a great place to stay. It is quiet and nice, a little off the busy city life, giving you an impression that you are somewhere in the countryside. But it is close to Corso Italia which runs along the sea-shore and is an easy way to get to the center without getting lost in curvy up-and-down Genova streets.

Excellent hotel although not in the heart of Genova. Staff was cordial and very polite. Breakfast was of good italian standard. We recommend room 410 as it is away from the lift(a loud bell rings every time the lift reaches the floor) and it had sea view. Would strongly recommend.

The rooms at this hotel were large but very plain. Walls are thin; could hear someone snoring in next room. Breakfast room is too big and very cold looking. A smaller, cozier room would have been better. The breakfast table was very long but didn't really have all that much on it. Cereals, croissants, sliced bread, butter, jams, stale focaccia (which is inexcusable since Genoa is the focaccia capital of the world), yogurt, a bowl of whole fruits. Some staff was very friendly, some rather cool. This hotel is in a very quiet, safe, residential neighborhood which was nice. All in all, it was an average hotel. Price was right. We would return to it if we couldn't find a comparably priced hotel in a good area. Genoa has a lot of bad areas.

I was slightly annoyed to find out that the air conditioning is only available 2 to 3 hours a day in the evening. I would not call that air conditioned!

The place is very good and above the Italian standard of its category, personell is kind and helpful. Slight glitch, the place is in a residencial area which can be a problem if you are there without a car and want go out for dinner fastly; though, it is very close to main public transportation towards the old city.
