Hotel Belsito - Nervi, Genoa

Good hotel to use upon arrival in Genoa. We were so tired from the airplane ride so had no trouble falling asleep. Hotel on a main street so it was a little noisy. Staff offered advice as to where to take a walk and get gelato--beautiful veiw of ocean and one of our best gelato stops.

Perfect location for visitors to Firenze and proximity. Good value for the money.

We had a great stay at Belsito. Seemed like a family run hotel, with very friendly and serviceminded (and English speaking!) staff. Rooms were nice and clean, we felt very welcome as a family travelling with a child. The hotel is located just opposite Nervi Park with a huge play ground which we used quite a lot. We also enjoyed the free access to a pool area close by with a nice and quiet area for children. Hotel is situated in a quiet area though with at least a 15 minute walk to restaurants/shops. An extra was the free parking facilities. Can only recommend Belsito!

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Belsito. The location is wonderful-it is just across a beautiful park with 2 museums with great art. The room was lovely with a sea view. The owner was super helpful, spoke excellent English, and offered practical tips about the neighbourhood. There are many lovely little food shops in Nervi-I highly recommend pastry shops and restaurants along the seawall. Great stay overall!

La chambre était correct mais le stationement difficile et l'environnement moche. C'est un bon hôtel de passage. Le petit-déjeuner était super.

The house is laying directly at the street where there can bee much traffic even if it is in the village, so be aware off traffic noise.

Excellent surroundings, botanical garden, museum, sea. Trains to Genova as well buses all day round. The only trouble: It was not possible to check the payment by Visa card. I was obliged to pay cash. A few metres from the hotel my card was excepted..

The hotel is located in a pleasant location, in Nervi, a neirborough of Genoa, really close to the beutiful Villa Gropallo park and ten minutes walk from the Nervi's promenade, an highly scenic walk along the sea. The hotel itself is spartan, but clean and confortable. It is to be noted that in the bath the single dose liquid soap in tear-to-open bags is really unconfortable, a soap dispenser and/or disposable soap bars would be much better. The free parking just behind the hotel's building is a plus in Genoa, where parking is generally difficult and/or expansive. It is advisable to leave the car in the parking and use the public transportation, since the railway station is ten minutes on foot and the bus stops in the vicinity of the hotel. The price/value ratio is good as a whole.

As an older couple we enjoyed our stay in this small, quiet hotel in a location next to a beautiful public park, elegant art gallery and very close to the promenade. Free entry to an interesting (and what would be expensive if you had to pay for it) beach club built around the rocky seashorem, providing access to sea bathing - wonderful warm and clear water, swimming pools etc. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent. Our only reservation was the old-fashioned 'en suite' facilities, absence of air conditioning (for those who like this sort of thing) and slightly noisy street outside. Highly recommended.

Hotel Belsito is located in a prime area to be near the sea,in Nervi, with small restaurants within walking distance, museums,and a lovely town center. The main attraction is a walkway along the sea, which is a ten minute walk from the hotel. The family owned hotel is quaint, quiet and tenderly cared for. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.

Very very welcoming staff. Great place and awesome location... A few mosquitoes, but oh well... I'll go again ;)
