Central. Close to train station, cafes, internet cafes and things to see.Room was fine, just what I paid for. Wifi service was connected but did not work at all and was frustrating.

NOT WELCOMING FOR FAMILY WITH VERY YOUNG KIDS. This place is right in the middle of a very busy street with 24/7 noise. Our room was very tight for space. Air con did not work, and altho the bathroom was kept as clean as possible, the shape of it was rather shabby. This place more for young travellers who travel on a budget. Personally, I will not be coming back, but can imagine this would suit many young and carefree people...

Only to sleep, goes well; do not have parking, and a genova is inconvenient and expensive, 5 euros for coffe and cookies seem to me too, seen that breakfast is not included. Advantage that you can come whenever you want.

I stayed 3 nights. The hotel was good value but could do to be signed better on the street i.e. a sign perpendicular to the wall so that people can see when they reach the hotel. I walked straight passed the hotel at first. The old vacuum tube TV was very poor. Just 3 channels working and one of these was very fuzzy.

A practical and cheap way to stay in Genova, very close to the Principe station, in a nice street. I experienced a small but clean room. Some troubles with the wi-fi connection. Very nice welcoming and general accuracy.

Nice room - I was booked single and they gave me triple for the same price, clean bathroom, quite nice room (only wall little dirty) nice staff - I could have left my luggage before check in and after check out. Good location - close to the railway station and on the street where you have coffes, restaurants, bars. Quite expensive but in Genoa it was hard to find sth cheaper.

This was my first time in Genova. It was my second time staying in a hotel that was rated 2 stars. It is about what I expected: bare bones, but clean. Although I did not interact with the staff much, I thought they were all friendly. The hotel is close to one of the main train stations so that was convenient. Oh, that reminds me, hotel directions on the site could be a little more clear. Merely saying that you are 500 meters from the train station is not really that precise. 500 meters in which direction? Once I figuted out where via Balbi was, it was easy to walk to within a few minutes.

It was not a nice hotel but close to the train station which was important for me as a solo train traveler. The staff was not very friendly. The room was very small, more than expected and the shower did not work. I would not return to this hotel.

When we arrived early at 12.30pm we asked for our bags to be kept over. This was done but when we returned at 6pm the room was still not ready. We were sent to the room and other peoples belongings were still there. After much debating we got another room at 50% reduction. Although sorted out it left a bad impression.

Rather awkward layout of room furniture and the bathroom cabin added later. Bathroom very small, with shower difficult to get in and half broken doors. No language problems with the staff. Very easy to reach: 50m from the Stazione Principe, not far from the old town.

I understand that it's a 2 star hotel, but Cleanliness and quality of beds should not be an optional. The main thing i can say about the hotel is the price: 90 euro per night, for a 3 bed room, is too much for a 2 star hotel. Good location, parking problems (due to the city, not to the hotel in itself)

The hotel is housed in an older style building. The elevator is the "cage" type which was a bit scary. Finding the hotel by car can be a bit tricky since it is situated in a one-way road and one has to go a long way round to come up the right way. On the plus side the room was spacious, clean and the furniture was modern. The bathroom was also new and tastefully decorated though the hot water did take a long time to come out of the shower. The street was rather noisy at night but one has to account for the hotel's central location. We were rather puzzled with the parking space offered by the hotel; the website advert did give the impression they had some kind of garage or private parking area but in fact it turned out to be a very small cave-like hole dug into a wall which barely fit our Fiat Punto. But at least it has a shutter which did secure the vehicle. Owners of larger cars will have problems though...On the whole I think the hotel is fine for a short stay or for a stop-over when transiting through Genoa. The staff were very accomodating in letting us have our breakfast early and we found them friendly and polite.

Genoa is in the process of major renovation. It is not the hotel's fault that the street was dug up outside and there was quite a bit of extra street noise as a result. But I felt that the staff were very inconspicuous with the exception of one young man who was very helpful on our arrival. The room was very small as were the beds. The shower door was broken. We returned to our room late one evening to find a note under our door late asking us to be out of the room by 8.30 the next morning with no further explanation. When we protested that this was a little unreasonable, it was explained that it was to fix the shower and that they were under pressure to get it done before the arrival of a large no. of guests the following Monday. This didn't really give us the feeling of valued customers! Obviously in an inexpensive hotel one cannot expect 5star service but I was quite disappointed with this hotel. The breakfast was certainly not to our taste, consisting of only crispbreads and various sweet things with coffee. All in all, not good value for money.

It's a convenient location and all, but the hotel is very odd. They have a curfew, but the worst part is getting into the hotel. It's in a building with other businesses, and the reception floor was on a different level than the room, requiring a lot of being buzzed in. Convenient, clean, nice, but not very user friendly.

Single panes of glass in windows and Genova is a VERY noisy city. Ear plugs are a necessity to get any sleep. Shower was a half meter step up. A little dangerous climbing out of. The price was so affordable- 38 euro per night for a single- that I guess it was worth it.
