A beautifull building from beginning of 20th century. A large room with see view, big bathroom. Breakfast could be a little more exiting but I strongly recommend this place considering th eprice. One of the best pizzerias of Italy near the RR station "Leo".

We could arrive only one day later as planned. It was no problem to change the dates. One telephone was enough. The hotel ist good for one or two nigthts, when you want to go to Genua. For holiday-stay we would chose an other hotel. The hotel ist near the bus-station an the boot-taxi-station to Genua (3 Euro one way). The hotel is near to a busy street. The rooms to the sea (and the street) are therefore loud. One of our room smelt from smokers.

A delightful hotel in a grand old building 10km west of genoa. we arrived after a very long drive from France and were thrilled to find out quad room was a triple plus single with lots of space and a lovely sea view. The staff were very pleasant and parking was easy. We were very grateful that we opted for Pegli rather than the centre of Genoa, and there were pleasant and reasonably priced restaurants a short walk away.

Tho location of the hotel is good, but to enter the center of the city of Genua you need around 45-50 minutes by bus, which is quite tiring. Because we had rooms on the seaside, we did not have any rooms that were of modern standard. The rooms are big and spacious but the street below is quite noisy.

Quad room was absolutely huge. Beautiful ocean view room. Bed very decent. Best part: little restaurant across the road. Excellent food and atmosphere. Family owned. Can watch pizza being made. From hotel: go out front door, turn right, cross street, turn right, 2 doors down street.

THE ONLY NEGATIVE ASPECT IS THE PLUMBING SYSTEM, VERY OLD. EVERY TIME YOU TAKE A SHOWER YOU FLOOD THE BATHROOM BECAUSE OF LEAKS. ANYWAY THE PUBLIC AREAS ARE REALLY NICE AND THE SURROUNDINGS LARGELY COMPENSATE FOR THIS DEFECT.

Used as a one night before the airplane ride home. Close to the airport. In the earlier moorning it only took ten or fifteen minutes. The room was very large, clean with a nice bed. I would stay again for the same reason.

We had no problem finding the hotel which was only a short walk from the railway station. We had a room overlooking the sea which was very large with high ceilings. The wooden floor was very noisy to walk on. The bathroom was very dated, the screen didn't close, mould in the corners of the tiles. The concierge was very considerate and offered to call a taxi for us as we had to leave very early for Genoa airport only 3 kms away.

Nice spacious room with a view to the sea, however, rather noisy (from outside). The hotel is a beautiful old building, but rooms need refurbishing I think. Breakfast was very good (nice cappuchino and hot chocolate was offered). The little restaurant in the street next to the hotel is fabulous, very recommendable.

We stayed at the hotel twice, on our way to/from our destination. First we were given one enormously spacious room,on the old wing of the hotel 1st floor, with 2 bedrooms, very high ceiling, overlooking the beachfront. The Second time we were given a single 4 beds room overlooking the back- parking lot, modern newer wing 2nd floor. Both times we were satisfied, breakfast was OK, nothing special. Big advantage is the hotel parking lot. A small traditional pizzeria at the left hand side of the hotel-entrance to the parking lot- is a must if you want to taste a really genuine italian pizza (cheap too). Overall is a good choice especially if you want to get off/on the autostrada with no waste of time

It was fine. It was a convenient overnight stop after arriving at Genova on the ferry from Palermo - only about 20 minutes drive from the port. The room at the back of the hotel was a bit noisy on account of the nearby railway. One slight drawback was that the hotel restaurant is closed on Sundays, but we were directed by the hotel desk to a very good and jolly restaurant/pizzeria in the street beside the hotel.

We loved this hotel! We were only there for one night but really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were absolutely huge - the quad was actually 2 huge rooms with a bathroom - so was the triple. We were in the front so we could open the enormous windows and shutters and look out at the port and sea. The staff were also nice and really helpful. We would love to spend more time here and explore Genoa.

THe rooms were enormous, grand and very comfortable. We were thankful for air conditioning as it would have been very noisy otherwise. The hotel faces the promenade on the water and is on a busy street, and the back of teh hotel is very near a train track. Neither of these factors bothered us as the windows were closed with the air conditioning. We did not find the evening staff particularly helpful or friendly, but the morning staff was very nice. The breakfast was good and generous. The parking was a very helpful bonus and the location was fun and convenient to the autostrada.

Not quite the majesty of the drawing they show in their ad. Not close to much but the ocean. The staff did recommend a geneovese restaurant that was remarkable (Zefferino's downtown Genova) which Frank Sinatra use to dine at among other famous. Expensive but great fun, surroundings and staff. I would stay here again and alsom recommend.

We only had the one day to spend there so we did not really have much chance to get to know any employees. It did have parking around back which is handy for bringing in the luggage ,however the elevators are small. It is conviently located to a main road and to the beach, so any front room had an excellent view of the sea.

It would have been very difficult to find the hotel if I hadn't previously found it in Autoroute and printed out a map. As it was, at night, we drove past it without spotting it. This however is a criticism that can be made of on-line maps for most hotels - the Accor ones being a particular case in point. My only criticism would be that the hotel restaurant was not open when we arrived at about 8pm. On the other hand, the hotel reception recommended an excellent pizzeria next door, so this was not a problem. Otherwise, I had no complaints about the hotel. It provided an overnight stop at a reasonable price in a convenient location, with reasonably secure car parking.

Excellent hotel with helpful and friendly staff; great service, good parking. Staff provided escellent information where to go and how. Good public transportation connection to old toen and harbour of Genova. Hotel in front of coastal road, so sleeping was possible with closed windows only. On the other side of hotel nice promenade with bars, restaurants, swimming pool, beach. Only very little noise from airport! However, air conditioning worked fine. At first I was skeptical, but in the end was pleasantly surprised. An old structure, the rooms would definitely benefit from a renovation, especially the bathrooms. A/C would have been nice since some rooms face the busy main street. As far as room size...amazing. Secured parking, but they need a bigger sign to tell where to turn to get to it:) Fairly decent location. However, there 's not a whole lot within walking distance that I could tell. We stayed in many hotels throughout Italy on this trip and all in all we'd definitely consider staying here again.

A work-a-day business hotel in a somewhat run down suberb of Genoa surrounded by apartment blocks. Nothing like the impression given from the web site brochure. The staff were efficient but distant and stand-offish. Near the airport as the crow flies, but a long way round by taxi. Better to stay in the city centre. A lot of money for not very much.
