This hotel was clean but it is in the red light district and that´s a no go! lot´s of noise infront of room windows!!! unable to sleep! police fight with people on the street!!!! I will never come back to this hotel!

I do not recommend this hotel for anybody who want to sleep during the night. IMPOSSIBLE!!! There is s night bar right under the windows. Loud shouting, smiling and also quite heavy traffic will not allow you to sleep a single hour. Hotel personnel do not seem to know what the hotel is providing. This hotel does not deserve 4 stars for sure.

The Hotel is located in the center of Geneve and the price is for the city relatively OK, but it it in the middle of the red light district. I saw one prostitute even in the Hotel. There were red smears and dots on the wall of the room and the fridge did not work. Internet costs extra. Breakfast also. And worst of all was the receptionist, who was only friendly in the presence of the boss. In the morning I woke up by a quarrel in the streets under my window and even the police had been called. Full of black immigrants who bring their "culture".

Excellent location, very close to train station and short walk to the lake. a little noisy at night because room faced the street. a little pricey, but nice hotel. wifi and computer access, but very expensive!! only real major problem was that the mattress was VERY hard.

Room had very poor lighting. Bathroom cabinet was waterwarped and veneer was pealed away in parts. Toilet paper holder was broken off wall. Hair dryer was aged. Bath and sleeping room overheated. No free wifi. TV remote broken. Lamp bulb dead. Poor reception at check-in; no help on restaurant recommendations.

Excellent service for a reasonable price. The hotel is in the very center of Geneva, 2 min walk from the station and from the lake. Breakfast could be improved (there were just croissants, yogurts, boiled eggs, bread, some fruit and one kind of salami).

Stayed here for the first time. Staff needs further training on customer relations....often did not know enough of what was available in the area. Cleanliness, location and facilities in the room were very good. It should noted that the hotel is in a red light district, as some people may find it offensive. Overall we were satisfied.

Good location - easily accessible from train station and easily walked in 5 or 6 minutes with luggage. Reasonable price, friendly, helpful staff, but room smelt overwhelmingly of cigarette smoke.

The Hotel Nash Ville best quality was probably the helpfulness of the staff. The hotel was clean and double room size was OK. The immediate surroundings to the hotel were somewhat sleazy and very noisy. I stayed for 10 days and was awakened every night about 3am by noise in the streets. The street activity was amusing at times and provided some entertainment, but from 3am to 6am I would prefer quiet.

Front disk employees are very helpful. Bathroom is very clean and so is the room. For the price, services were excellent. Although they do not bother you,the only negatives are the few women standing around the corners near by the hotel.

The hotel is basic, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly with only one mishap. If you want to book tours, do it yourself. Hotel is indeed located in the heart of "Hooker Central" however that only added to the cultural experience. Did not feel uncomfortable or threatened. Also, the hotel is in a middle eastern center of commerce with a variety of Turkish, Lebanese and other restaurants, only a 30 second walk from the front door. Close to the lake and even closer to the main train station. User friendly.

Asain woman staff was very welcoming. Speak good English and French, offer a hospitality. The next day when was returning from sight seeing late in the night. The white man receptionist act unwelcoming and speak rude words. Ask my name and check my room number in a rude manner as I am a robber or criminal or a bad guy. I was just sitting at the public chair provided in the hall. I have a key that is why I can enter the locked door. But to treat a quest like he is a robber, disrespectedly is not a good manner for a four star Hotel.

I choose this hotel because I could not reserve my usual hotel, The hotel is located near the train station but in a "hot" street (some brothels in the street). The room is correct but small, I had on the TV only Arabian Chains ? I do not take the breakfast. I would not recommand this hotel...

Spent 2 nights. Price was fair for services available. Was indicated that chek in time =14.00hrs but reception staff argued that its at 15.00hrs even though the room tag also indicated 14.00hrs. So I had to hang around when I got there for 1 hr before checking in at 15.00hrs. They also rang my door bell at 10.30hrs instead of mid day to check out. My deposit was not returned and this wasn't specified when I was booking.

The environment surrounding this hotel is gettign worse these days. Perhaps due to the bars, easily you can find women standing in the corner waiting for client, and people from mid East or somewhere gathering in the street.

Quality vs. Price very poor. Furniture in the room was too far from generaly accepted condition for 4 stars Hotel.Ceiling is with flooding marks. Hotel was surraunded by hookers from very morning to late night (but may be for someone it's preference)

The overall experience was nice. The room sizes were indeed rather small and one could listen to what is on TV in the neighbours room, but the guests were quite considerate and no loud volumes were there. The rooms, toilets and Linen were quite clean and everything was on its place. The so hyped about sex shops next door are overhyped and were not an annoyance.Hotel was not able to provide for an adaptor for the laptop which caused a little inconvenience. The only thing that surprised me was that Front Desk asked for the money plus 200 CHF advance while checking-in but while booking the hotel through website it was mentioned that we need to pay during check out instead of check-in. The Front Desk was not able to guide us about the places to visit in Geneva but that was compensated for by the helpful staff at the nearby Train station and the tourism office. The proximity of the Train station is a great plus point but then scores of similar other hotels are also there. The lifts of the hotel fits for only one person with luggage.

We stayed in a double room at the 2nd floor and was very quiet, that was good, the service overall was not bad at all, the staff was friendly enough, the only dissapointment was the parking zones around the zone, we spent about an hour to get a place to park the day we arrived, after that we had to reserve and pay a parking fee to the hotel, that should be included in the price given, a 4 star hotel without a private free parking zone??. Although the surrounding area is a red light district, is handy because you have bars, restaurants, train station on your doorstep, which is helpful. Is a good place to stay for the value.

Very helpful and knowledgable staff. Hotel was 2 minutes walking from the station which was ideal as I had a 4-day train pass to explore Switzerland. Area maybe not the best bit of Geneva but 5 minutes walk and you are soon in a more salubrious area.

One of the staff members was most unhelpful re a problem I had with the wireless card I bought from the hotel - the card did not work and she would do nothing to assist me at all and was clearly not bothered about the fact that I had been sold, by the hotel, a dud card. In fact, she was downright rude to me. I should have taken her name. All other staff members were nice.

On the web you did not quote that we had to pay, on the top of the amount for the hotel, also a special taxes of 3.25 swiss francs for each person each day. Actually I think it is pretty unfair not to say that on your page, because you quote a errate total amount. What's more, when I booked through your page, the hotel did a sort of experiment with my card (I think is to check if it is a real card) sending a "false" request to take the amount of the first night. Not happy with that, when we arrived, they asked my visa again and did the same, so my bank received two false request to take money that actually they did not have. I feel quite upset. We asked for twin beds, and they say we could provide them, but when we got there, we could have only a double bed. When we complained, they just gave us two sheets for the double bed, which was impossible to split as the room was sooo small. We could hardly walk around the bed to get out. The location is horrible. In the street there were all nights fights and drunk people shouting, day and nights there were prostitues a few metres from the hotel, so when we came back every day at 7 pm to the hotel, there were always prostitutes on our way home. The breakfast we pay separately was pretty bad.

The hotel was very nice. The only minor issue that we had was we stopped in the lounge for a drink, it was a Friday night, and there was no one there. Not even a bar tender. We waited awhile, but no bar tender showed, so we left. We also noticed a sign when we checked out that stated that you could not bring outside food or drink to your room. If you did so, you could be billed extra. As I said, we didn't notice this until check out, and we had brought food and drink back to our room, but so far, we haven't been billed extra!

Due to a problem with the cleaning personal, the room was available at 4:00pm instead of 2:00pm. To apologize about his delay (during this time, we left the lugages in the reception and walk through the city), the hotel give us a better room for the same price so it was very cool. Just a thing about the streets round the hotel with some prostitutes and sex-shops. We never felt in danger or something like that but this could be a problem if you come with kids. But the hotel is very nice and I will return in the same hotel in my next travel in Geneva. Thanks a lot to Venere.com for finding this hotel !

The hotel is conveniently located a 5 minutes walk from Geneva train station. (You should be aware though that it is not recommended to walk alone in this neighbourhood after 12PM.) The rooms were in top-shape and the breakfast buffet was delicious! I didn't think it was possible to have a room with such a high standard at this low price in Geneva!! The only minor detail was the construction work going on outside my window which started in the morning.

The problem with this hotel is that the area located is the worst in Geneva. The road where the hotel is located and the road behind is full of sex shops and whores. Noisy during the night. The rooms are very nice and the hotel in general very good. The breakfast is very rich. Try to avoid the area.

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Single doors between rooms meant that you could hear what your neighbours were talking about and the street behind the hotel came alive at night till early hours of the morning. Everything was as stated except when it came time to pay I was charged for breakfast for each day despite it being included in the rate. This was due to the Venere summary email being sent to the hotel NOT including that breakfast was included.
