Hotel Suisse - Geneva

A very dangerous bathroom with a slippery bath tub and an even more slippery floor.

I visited Geneva for both business and leisure. The location of the hotel was ideal and easy to find being across the road from the railwaY station. However, that meant there was more traffic noise than perhaps there would have been on a side street. On one day I visited the Motor Show at palexpo which is beside the airport - very easy to reach! I would have no hesitation is using Hotel Suisse should I visit Geneva in the future.

I spent one night, everything was OK. (The elevator's size was too small for me.)

The superior rooms are worth the extra cost. The area is not "dodgy", very convenient for the train station. Breakfast ok - just.

One day.the hotel is in front of the train station,it is not the best zone to stay at night.I payd the public parking 30 euros!I would like Venere to inform people who ask for parking(as I did)the price of public parking if the hotel has not his own parking

For the night it was a fine hotel, fast internet, very good breakfast, good coffee, convenient location.

Hotel Suisse provided a very large room for three which was excellent in terms of space, accommodation and cleanliness. There was loads of storage space and a safe. Being at the back of the hotel there was practically no noise and being across from the rail station and tram stops was a perfect position to get around the city. The staff were very helpful and friendly. No complaints whatsoever!

A great hotel to stay at,have always used Venere.com and not disappointed again. Would stay again at the drop of a hat.

This was my first time in Geneva.The hotel was small and has a perfect location for tourists.The train and the bus station is opposite the hotel so it is very convinient.It is also very near from the lake.Many shops and restaurants are in the area. The rooms were very clean.There was no fitted carpet in the room.This was perfect for me because I am allergic to carbets.The bathroom was also white and clean.A real value for money hotel!

The hotel is in a convenient location right across from the train station. Breakfast was very good. Staff was helpful and friendly. There are many restaurants around the hotel. Be prepared - Geneva is very expensive. Free internet with a computer in the lobby.

The room and the bathroom were clean.It was very comfortably stay. Breakfast was also delicious. Regrettably, It was not able to sleep soundly by the voice of the person who was making noise all night long on the Montblanc street.

Price seemed high for the general location, although it was convenient to train station. Hotel lacked a restaurant and bar which should be found in this pice range

The location of hotel is very favourable; close to the main railway station and the shopping places and restaurants as well as the Lake. This is our first experience staying at Hotel Suisse and I must commend on the cleanliness of the room which was spick and span. The photo shows exactly what the room is supposed to look like. Unfortunately, our TV remote control was out of battery power and we were kinda put on the spot for some missing choc bars in the fridge and that was not very pleasant. So I feel they should have a better inventory control to these items before we were checked in! Besides that breakfast was excellent and they should smile more at the reception.

Hotel is located directly across the street from the major rail station. In most cities this is not usually a great area but in Geneva the area was ok. My room looked out of the back of the hotel and right at a Starbucks that was part of a pedestrian shopping plaza. Room was clean and very spacious as was bathroom. Double bed for one traveler was great plus free wifi. Breakfast was provided which was a bonus. The hotel provided a free transportation pass which took you to the major shopping area. The hotel was selected because of its location to the train station so that a train could be caught to the Tour-de-France stage race the next day.

Very conveniently located for the station. Room was a good size, very clean and tidy. Breakfast good, with better than expected coffee. I arrived late on a hot day, and the air conditioning in the room was off; it took a couple of hours for the temperature in the room to become more pleasant.

Well situated - right across the street from the train station. Clean, bright, large room with a large bathroom and air conditioning. We were given 2 day transportation passes for the trams for each person which was a nice extra. Be aware though that Geneva is a very expensive city to visit.

Really enjoyed my stay in this hotel and would definitely recommend it to a friend. The superior twin room was definitely worth the extra cost. The hotel is newly renovated ( Some work is still ongoing on the third floor) and very clean.

My colleagues usually stay at this hotel when working in Geneva and I agree it is a good value hotel well placed for restaurants and transport. Reasonalbly quiet given its city centre location. It was clean and had all facilities you would expect.

The Suisse was a nice small hotel, very central to the railway station and within walking distance of all the sightseeing areas. I would definitely stay there again.

A very good option to sejourney at Geneve. The hotel is in front of the railway station, and tram and buses stops with conection to airport. There is a little walk to the lake of Leman and to de old town and shopping streets. The room was clean, comfortably and quiet. The persons in the front desk of reception very kind and helpful.

Very convenient for a stopover, as the hotel is close to the station with easy access to the lake.

Hotel Suisse is located directly across the street from the Cornavin railway station, the disembarkation point for the Geneva airport trains and inter-city trains. The rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast was included and the selection was above par. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. The immediate vicinity around the railway station is not elegant however it is busy, appeared to be very safe to us, and within easy walking distance to the major tourist sites, restaurants, and the lake. We would stay at the Hotel Suisse again without any hesitation whatsoever.

VERY GOOD CENTRALLY BASED HOTEL - IF ARRIVING OR LEAVING FROM THE STATION YOU CAN'T DO BETTER. THE ONLY THING LACKING WAS A BAR IN THE HOTEL BUT THERE ARE PLENTY TO CHOOSE FROM NEARBY. WOULD CERTAINLY RETURN.

Das Hotel übertraf die Erwartung. Das Zimmer war wirklich für 3 Personen in der Grösse und das dritte Bett war nicht einfach nur Zusatz.

Great location in front of the central station. Busy street in front, but not bothered by noise during night. Good aircondition. The elevators are small. Standard french selection at breakfast (white bread, crossaints, cheese, ham and marmelade). We also got a free public transport pass, don't know if this was common or just a special offer at the time.

Very basic, good location. They should mention that the hotel does not have parking and parking in Geneva is a hassle and expensive. Location is good for walking around.

Very kind staff.Our superior double room was excellent. The staff were very helpful when we had to return to Geneva one night earlier than planed.They fixed a room for us.Clean and spacious bathroom.Near the railway station, made it convinent to rech airport. We stayed four nights at Suisse hotel. We will be back.

Great hotel for exploring Geneva if arriving by air or train. Very close to train station and buses. Clean rooms, pleasant staff, reasonable price for expensive Geneva.

I really liked the hotel a lot. I only stayed in the hotel one night, but was sufficient to realize how nice the hotel is. It is near train station and center to best tourism attraction. I definitely recomend this hotel to anyone (young, olders, couples, singles, etc.

Just in front of the train station. A lot of restaurants and souvenirs shops near the hotel. If i come back to Geneve, I just try the same hotel.

My boyfriend an I stayed at hotel suisse for 2 nights in Nov. Staff were extremely friendly. The room was very nice, a bit on the small side as was the ensuite but both spotessly clean. Great range in minibar. As the staff could not book us into hotel suisse in Geneva, we used the internet in lobby to book accommodation, we were not charged for this usage. Overall a great hotel easy public access into Zurich (approx 5 mins on train)train station opp hotel. Breakfast very good. Would stay again!

My husband and I felt the hotel was adequate. The rooms were quite small and there was noise at night from the street below. The service was excellent and we particularly enjoyed the breakfast each morning.

We (2 families with one child each) stayed here for 2 nights. I was a bit concerned about the location as it was right in front of the railway station (Cornavin) and thought it might be noisy. But it was really quite once the windows were all closed. If you plan to use the public transport to go around in geneva, this is an excellent choice as it is right in front of the train/tram station and bus stop. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was good. They issue a free travel pass which you can use in buses and trams while going around in Geneva. Like all places in Switzerland, it is bit pricey compared to UK standards. Overall, we were happy and would certainly recommend.

The hotel is well run. The help is very attentive. The location is ideal, but be prepared for street noise until midnight, because this hotel faces the exit from the train station.

We chose this hotel based on its proximitry to the main train station as we were simply overnighting before going to the airport the next morning. For this purpose it was quite satisfactory. However, the facility is otherwise nothing special. The carpets in our room were soiled. The breakfast was adequate.

We had a great time at the Suisse. The room was a triple and it accommodated the 3 of us well. The location was perfect for using the train and the short walk down to the center of town. The continental breakfast was decent and kept stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for our purposes of an overnight stay in Geneva-couldn't get closer to the train station! Room was small, but fine-bathroom nicely done. Breakfast average-coffe machine had most guests confused and staff not helpful with it.

Je suis étonné qu'un hotel de ce standing n'accepte pas AMEX et qu'il n'en soit pas fait mention alors que j'ai donné mon numéro AMEX pour garantir ma réservation... Concernant votre questionnaire je trouve abérrant que vous me demandiez de passer du temps à répondre à questionnaire et que je sois obliger pour le renvoyer de répondre à toutes les questions... Si vous ne voulez pas que les gens répondent n'importe quoi, laissez-les libre de s'exprimer...

Davvero un hotel meraviglioso. E' praticamente di fronte alla stazione centrale di Ginevra, basta solo da attraversare la strada. In più la stanza è praticamente insonorizzata dai rumori dell'esterno. La colazione è ottima. E' vicinissimo al lungolago di Ginevra e alle fermate dei principali mezzi pubblici. Il personale è cortese e parla anche l'italiano. Il rapporto qualità / prezzo, considerato il costo medio della vita a Ginevra è ottimo. Consigliatissimo.
