Hôtel Montbrillant - Geneva

I have stayed at this hotel before and find its location fantastic - only a minutes walk from the station but not far from the lake and the centre. The rooms are clean and the public area pleasant with a good restaurant. The only strange thing is that the hotel has no twin bed rooms and anyone requesting this must stay in a studio in an annexe, meaning they have to go outside everytime they want to go into the public areas of the hotel, not good in freezing winter conditions. They should either give access directly from the hotel or convert some hotel rooms into twins.

Despite being very close to the railway station the room (3rd floor) was very quiet. we appreciate also the free parking (it has not too many places)

An excellent location for train travellers; plus easy connection to the airport by local train, via free pass provided at the hotel. Ideal for solo and overnight travellers.

I arrived late one night and left early the next day, so I just needed a place to sleep. This hotel is not for your 25th wedding anniversary, but serves the purpose well if you want a conveniently-located and clean hotel at a decent price.

Generally spoken a nice hotel, but quite expensive (probably normal for geneve) Its just besides the train station, so it is some kind of noisy.
