Hotel Eden - Geneva

Take a look from your own balcony: The sun rises over the lake and the Alps! Perfectly situated: bus 28 takes You from the airport to the hotel (70 meters walk from the last stop!). And if You need to go to the WHO HQ f.ex., the same bus takes you there in 5 minutes.

A small but comfortable hotel. Rooms are clean , tidy and above average quality. Transport by bus very convenient.

Long way from railway station Nowhere to get a meal in the hotel on a weekend

Very nice. walking distance to the lake and located on main avenue with places to pick up food, a few pubs, rental car,etc. 15 minute walk to rue de mont blanc which crosses lake. 20 minute walk to old town. very easy to find form the airport. i would def reccommend. however, it will cost you. the most expensive place i stayed in on my trip thru europe. RENT A CAR and take the 1 hour drive to Chamonix. so easy to find and just adorable.

There is a lovely walk along the lake, from just across the road from Hotel Eden to the Pont du Mont Blanc. On a good day, there are spectacular views of the Mont Blanc.You can also get a little boat to the other side of the lake from just across the road. The number one bus stops very near the hotel and goes right through the centre of the city

This was a very comfortable hotel, quiet and easy to get into Geneva. A little expensive for me but this is a very expensive city

Our stay was marred by noisy people in the room next door and the fact that we discovered that the bed linen had not been changed.

Property is located way out of the main tourist area: this would possibly be a very good place for someone to stay who has work in the UN offices or someone with a personal vehicle. The restaurant was under repairs and so, other than the breakfast, no other meals were served: with no other restaurants etc in the vicinity, this was a problem. Absence of coffee/tea making facility in the room not understood. Airconditioning left a lot to be desired.

1-you need to have porters to carry the lugges from the room to the car and vice versa 2-car services should be available from the hotel to airport and vice versa . 3-telephone card is good to be available with the reception . 4-the staff needs to be more aware of the country site information.

Hotel directions from airport were correct, but the bus driver (on no.28 bus) told us we had to change to a number 5 - which involved going into the centre of Geneva to the train station ... and walking from there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Eden and recommend this hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms pleasant and comfortable, in addition to a lovely breakfast buffet!

This was an absolutely lovely hotel! Was not my first stay in Geneva (am usually at the Noga Hilton on Quai du Mont Blanc), but was the first that I was charmed by the stay. I will certainly be staying at the Eden on future trips and will encourage others to do so as well. The room was charming and comfortable, the facilities were lovely, and the staff was warm and helpful.
