It is a very nice hotel. At first it appeared to us very far from Gdansk downtown . But there is very near of the hotel a line of trolley car that is very convenient. And we went to city center without using our car.

The hotel and grounds were great and the beach was only 5 minutes walk. The only down side was it was a long way (10km) from Gdansk old town. Taxis were cheap up until 10 p.m. when prices doubled. Local public transport was regular and very cheap but took a long time and was not that easy to understand. A bit of homework before you get there is recommended. There was a local disco which could be heard from the hotel and went on into the early hours. Not loud but intrusive and we were there at the end of August when it was cool in the evening and we closed the windows. Sleeping with the window open would have made the noise a lot louder. The pool was great but the bar closed quite early (around 11 p. m.) so a night cap wasn't available and there isn't too much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Except the disco. The hotel was great value for money but I'm sure there are similarly priced hotels nearer the old town which could be quieter. having said that, being near the beach was great.
