Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel clean and comfortable, good breakfast, bus stop just over the road and only 10 mins ride from center. Free tea/coffee available all day (nice after a cold day out) Excellent value for money. Pleasantly surprised with Gdansk, lots to look at historically, would come again.

The Hotel Angela was excellent. The rooms were excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The dining room was first class. The late night help yourself to coffee was a master touch. Overall we had a really good stay. One piece of advice I would like to offer the hotel is that their web photographs do not do the hotel justice. This has to do with camera angles.

A very nice little hotel, on the hills a few kilometers away from the center (5 minutes to the center by car and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel). Free parking in closed courtyard is available, even if not very large I always found a place for my car. It's a three-floors building and there is no elevator. Free Wi-Fi is available but the signal is too low at the third floor, where was my room. An access point for the third floor is definitely needed! Staff is friendly and polite, breakfast is good. Definitely recommended.

Accomodation good value for money - decor a bit dated -bathroom though was very modern- no lounge or bar which would have been nice as there was no where else nearby - location good for getting into main town -bus close by and staff at hotel give very good directions - Hotel perfect if all you want is somewhere clean to sleep and not spend any time at hotel - perfect for a short break - Breakfast was good -

Excellent, friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Hotel was very clean, comfortable and safe. About 10 minutes by bus from the centre of Gdansk. Bus stop was close by and buses were frequent and cheap (24 hour pass was 9.1 zlotty). Two small supermarkets (inc Carrefour Express) close by. Only problem was the walls are thin if you are a light sleeper.

We booked 3 nights at Hotel Angela, but due to flight changes had to add an additional night. This wasn't a problem with the hotel and was very easy to do. We had difficulty the first night finding the bus to the hotel (this may have been more down to the lack of Polish language from us - & the buses are VERY hard to work out) The room we had had a balcony which you could see Gdansk's Town Hall & St Mary's Church - fab to wake up to! The bus stop to Gdansk is literally 30seconds walk away and takes only 10mins to get in to the centre. The buses are really regular too and run early to late. From the airport it's a bus in to Gdansk (45mins) and another bus out. The hotel was gorgeous. Perfect in fact! Clean, smart, decorated beautifully. The staff are just absolutely fantastic - they speak excellent English and will go out their way to help you. Gdansk itself offers plenty for you... just make sure you go in warmer weather (not too much is open in Feb!)

Nice place, cheap room, comfortable and a good breakfast. Location isn't central but quite an easy walk. The only problem I had was noise - glad I took earplugs because I could hear the guy in the next room snoring pretty clearly!
