Very highly recommended. Superb welcome and very friendly and helpful. Hotel has fantastic character. Food first class. Can't give it full marks as the plumbing in our room wasn't up to the mark. However we spent ten great nights here.

The owners were really lovely people and nothing was too much trouble for them, they were very friendly indeed & very good hosts. if there is any complaint to be made it is that the water pressure in our room was so low that on occassion we couldn't flush the WC. Also we had to run the hot water for around 20 minutes before any hot water was available and then it was only lukewarm. Having a shower was impossible as there was no shower curtain or cubicle and again the water was tepid not warm or hot.

I found the Hirth hotel ideal and the service very accommodating and friendly. However, I was upset that the address you had given me was incorrect. After driving 12 hours on June 22nd I was very frustrated to be driving up and down the road to find the hotel at 9.30 p.m. On your confirmation you gave the address as 58 Loisachstraße but in fact it was Number 59. Please make sure you correct this in your computer files
