Just returned from lovely stay at Savoy Palace. The first room we were given had a beautiful view of the lake but very small balcony. However we were able to change rooms with no problem and thereafter had a balcony with sunbeds, table etc. I recommend the third floor rooms as they were the ones with the extra outdoor space. We went B and B; there was a special deal on the evening meal - 28e pp excluding drink. We thought the meal was really good although some people complained that it was too small and not enough variety - it was waiter service. We ate there 4 out of the seven nights.The breakfast was rather limited - only hot food was scrambled eggs and bacon, but good variety of continental breakfast food: ham and other cold meats, cheeses etc. The local area is excellent and really suited our needs of a quiet location in beautiful surroundings. Although warned beforehand that the prices would be high we were pleasantly surprised. The boat service to other sites was excellent. We would really recommend the area and this hotel.

Our second visit and just as enjoyable as the first! Our room overlooked the lake and the hotel is well positioned to it and the rest of this delightful little resort - the ferry terminal is no more than 100m from the hotel. The hotel restaurant is first class and very friendly Two minor complaints that I don't recall from the first visit: our room had a rather noisy air conditioning and there was an outdoor disco at the complex a relative short distance away which ended well after midnight twice during the week. We will certainly visit again in the future.

Best breakfast of our entire trip. Great property, good value, nice staff, wonderful setting. Only downside that the bathroom and water quality absolutely reeked of chlorine!

The hotel has 60 standard and superior double single use and double rooms, all featuring a private bathroom with hairdryer.
