My husband was very impressed with our room, and he usually does not say much! We had a grand stay - wishing our plans allowed us to relax a few more days. We celebrated our 20th anniversary with a private dinner in the tower which was delicious and so romantic. The Villa is centrally located to many of the beautiful towns in the area, so driving to them made for some wonderful day trips. Coming back to the villa and being able to relax and swim at the pool with a glass of wine was just heavenly. Thanks to everyone who helped make this a memorable time during our visit to Italy.

Beautiful hotel, idyllic location with wonderful views and understated luxury. Good restaurant, but limited alternatives locally without driving.

Villa Bianca is an excellent choice and location should your visiting plans include the Chianti area and San Gimignano which we visited and is a good 14 kms away (surely not 10 mins) according to my Car-GPS. The hotel has been recently re-decorated and will most certainly suit people of a more classical view of interiors. We stayed in the Rose room which has an excellent view from both windows. The only drawback is that the rooms that face North are significantly colder than the other rooms, with freezing walls and they do take longer to heat up. Our visit was in late December so the cold was rather intense. The breakfast was sufficient without going to extremes. The staff, from the manager to the serving ladies were very polite, helpful and ready to answer any question or complaint that we may have had. I would recommend Villa Bianca without hesitation. Excellent value for money as well.

We stayed for 2 nights at this beautiful villa which is a short drive from Volterra and San Gimignano. We had previously stayed in the 'Robin Room' and were again given the same room. It was suggested by the manager that we may like to look at other rooms for something different and ended up choosing the 'Sun Room' which was bigger and beautifully decorated, as are all the rooms. The breakfast provided was very good and the dining room again tastefully decorated. On the recommendation of previous reveiewers we also ate at the osteria located 400 metres up the hill. The food and service were excellent. The management and staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect from the time you walk through the front door. There are only 8 rooms so it is essential to book early going into the busier periods. I can thoroughly recommend the Villa Bianca as a great place to stay for something special.

I really adored this hotel, but, there was one thing that bothered me, and I have read it on this site. My room had a terrible odor of pesticides, I think moth balls. Even though it was cold I had to sleep with the window open because it was so strong. However, despite this, the hotel was lovely. Ok breakfast, nice staff, beautiful surroundings, and the rooms were so personalized and cute. i stayed in the Olive room, but my dad stayed in the Rose room, and it did not smell so bad. We ate dinner every night up the road at a place called La Montagnola. Fantastic kitchen at a reasonable price, and gorgeous presentation. The location of the hotel is quite central for a visit to Florence, San Gimignano, or Montalcino

A great hotel! Only the restaurant menue should be extended to give a bigger choice of local dishes. The quality of offered food was excellent. The staff is very attentive and tries to help wherever possible.

The breakfast was poor and not relating to the standard of the hotel. The service was not very attentive. The restaurant had few guests, so we had no incentive to eat there. The rooms smelled strongly of moth repellent agent or similar spray agents.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Bianca immensely. Antonio and the staff were very friendly and professional. The rooms have been beautifully refurbished and are spacious and very clean with large bathrooms. The dining room was bright and cheerful. The breakfast buffet provided a selection of cereals, fruit, rolls and meats and cheese. Dinners were truly gourmet and wonderful. We spent three nights at the villa and felt that it was a good base for exploring Tuscany. This lovely villa was defintely one of the hightlights of our trip. We would definitely return.

You would be hard pushed to find a warmer welcome, or more beautiful hotel than the Villa Bianca. The rooms and furnishings are charming, the food tasty and well-presented, and the location perfect for exploring the whole of Tuscany. I give this property 10/10
