THIS IS A TOP QUALITY HOTEL IN THE HEART OF BEAUTIFUL GALWAY COUNTRY SIDE BUT WITH EVERYTHING AT YOUR DOOR STEP.THE DOUBLE ROOMS ARE AMAZING CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT A SUITE LOOKS LIKE. THE TREATS ARE A DELIGHT DELIVERED TO YOUR ROOM ON ARRIVAL FRESH STRAWBERRIES DIPPED IN CHOCOLATE,PASTERIES AND HANDMADE CHOCOLATES. THE FOOD IS WONDERFUL FRESH BREAKFAST PREPARED IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES AND THE BAR FOOD IS GREAT QUALITY AT GREAT PRICES. THIS IS MY GALWAY RETREAT FROM NOW ON

The staff were extremely welcoming and professional. We arrived 3 hours before our check in time and asked if we could check in. We were immediately upgraded to a suite as our room wasn't ready for us. Very impressive service. Only minor gripe would be the size of the bathroom, which I felt was too small and somewhat cramped, but that's the only aspect of the hotel I could complain about.

How to reach The Twelve Hotel Bearna
By car
From Dublin City:
From the city, drive to the quays and continue to Heuston Station which will be on your right. Take the N4 and continue following signs for the The West. Continue to Clonard where you will see signposts for the N6 and Galway. Continue along the N6 passing through Milltownpass, Tyrellspass and Moate, and later
through Ballinasloe, Loughrea and Craughwell. Approaching Galway, follow signs for Galway City and then for Clifden and Oughterard. At the junction with Headford Road take the third exit. This will take you over the Quincentenial Bridge and the River Corrib. At this point, take the N6 and follow the signs for Spiddal/Coast road or Salthill. Continue on the signposted road to Spiddal. On entering Bearna Village you will see the hotel on the right hand side of the crossroads. It should take between 3 to 3.5 hours to arrive from Dublin.
By airplane
Driving Directions from Shannon Airport:
Drive north from Shannon airport on the N18 passing through Ennis and on to Galway. At the Oranmore roundabout follow the N59 out towards Clifden. This will take you over the Quincentenial Bridge and the River Corrib. At this point, take the N6 and follow the signs for Spiddal or Salthill. Continue on the signposted road to Spiddal. On entering Bearna village you will see the hotel on the right hand side. It should take about 70 minutes to arrive from the airport.
