How to reach Galway Harbour Hotel

By car
From Dublin: approach Galway on the N6 (Dublin/Shannon Road) and reach the junction with the N18 (Cork), on the outskirts of Oranmore. At the 1st roundabout, take the 3rd exit. At the 2nd roundabout take the 2nd exit. At the 3rd roundabout, take the 1st exit. Pass by Galway Crystal on your left-hand side. Continue straight through the traffic lights. Take the 2nd exit at the GMIT Roundabout. Travel straight until you reach the Huntsman Inn Roundabout. You will then come to a set of traffic lights; stay in the left hand lane and follow that road (the Lough Atalia Road) keeping the water on your left. Next you will go under a railway bridge and directly after that there is an extremely sharp corner. Once you go around that corner, the hotel is on your left-hand side.

By airplane
From Shannon International Airport: On exiting Shannon Airport, take the first exit at the roundabout onto the N19. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the N19. At next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the N19 and the same at next roundabout (signposted all routes). At the next roundabout, take 2nd exit onto the N19 (signposted Galway/Limerick). At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit then merge onto the N18 (signposted Galway/Ennis). Continue on the N18 and go through Kilcolganì and then Clarinbridge. At the roundabout (junction with N6), take the 2nd exit onto the N6. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit and continue on the N6 (signposted Galway). At the next roundabout, take a left for Galway City East. Go straight on at the next roundabout and then left the following one. You will then come to a set of traffic lights; stay in the left hand lane and follow that road (the Lough Atalia Road) keeping the water on your left.
