Rooms are small. Location to Malpensa is excellent. Hotel has free shuttle to take you to the airport which is less than 20 minutes away. Old part of town is charming. Perfect place to stay night before catching an early flight back to the States.

Es cierto que el hotel, comparado con otros que hay en Italia, está bastante bien. El desayuno buenísimo, muy variado. Lo único que las habitaciones son pequeñas y que, por supuesto, el precio es bastante elevado. Por lo demás a nosotras nos vino bien al tener que dormir cerca del aeropuerto de Malpensa y, a la vez, de una estación de tren.

The hotel is placed within easy reach to both Gallarate railway station and the Malpensa Airport (free shuttle from the hotel). Our room facing the street, was to a certain degree, disturbing the nightsleep for some of us. A bit softer mattresses would have been nice. The triple room was not very spacious, but all in all, it was a perfect stay for our purpose. This was my first experience with Venere.com - and it was a very good one! I would gladly recommend both Hotel Astoria and Venere.com

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Astoria. Although we thought it was a bit expensive, it was well worth it to be so close to the airport. The staff was by far the best we experienced over our three week stay in Italy. We will stay there again if we fly through Milan!

This is a very nice and modern hotel. Rooms are on the small side, but are about average for Italian hotels. Good location. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Clean and comfortable room. Building is many stories tall but there are several good elevators. Great place to stay the night before your flight out of Milan. About 6 blocks from the train station.

The Astoria is a pleasant hotel in a suburb of Milan that is served by trains from stations in town. I stayed there because I had an early morning flight out of Malpensa Airport, and this hotel was one of the closest ones to the airport. It is NOT close (a 25 euro taxi ride close), but there is nothing at the airport. The hotel advertises that it is close to the train station, but it is a five-block walk - an easy walk if not hauling luggage. There is a grocery store around the corner from the hotel, but restaurants in the neighborhood are limited. A nice hotel, and about as good as you can get if you need something reasonably priced near Malpensa.
