BEWARE. You have to confirm with them in advance, otherwise they will overbook, and give away your room. They did this to my in laws, and another person who was part of our party. They were taken to a farmhouse which was not in great condition, and then returned when their room became available. They brought them back after breakfast was over, and did not give them anything to eat. I think if you are young, its not a big deal, but my mother in law was very upset. I would not recommend this hotel for elderly people or people with kids because of the possibility of overbooking. I don't trust them. Otherwise, its a beautiful location, with a gorgeous view.

I can't really comment on Le Noci as we didn't end up staying there. I actually feel that Le Noci is guilty of false advertising as my husband and I were told upon our arrival (very jetlagged I might add) that we couldn't stay at that hotel but instead we would be in another room at a second hotel owned by the same people. After I pointed out that Le Noci was the place we had booked at and that they had confirmed the booking, I was told that a hotel guest was ill and that's why we were being moved. I'm afraid I didn't believe a word of the story and this was later confirmed by a German couple staying in the room next to us at the second establishment as they had been given the same story. The second hotel was clean but unlike Le Noci it had no AC and we had to keep our shutters closed as there was a problem with bees outside our room. If it had been the hotel shown on the website we would not have chosen it. In addition I found the attitude of the desk person we dealt with when we arrived very offhand and unapologetic. Alltogether an unpleasant beginning to our trip to Italy. Thankfully other places we visted made up for it.

The photos don't do the rooms justice! They are spacious and clean. The bathroom was tiled in stone and big. Very quite location against the beautiful backdrop of rolling Tuscan hills. Brilliant!

From the North the hotel is easily reachable by the motorway A1, exit Firenze Certosa. Take the superstrada Firenze Siena, exit San Donato. Follow the indications for Castellina in Chianti then for Radda in Chianti.
From South the hotel is easily reachable by the motorway A1, exit Valdichiana. Take the superstrada Siena Bettolle, direction Siena, exit Castelnuovo Berardenga. Follow the indications for Gaiole in Chianti, then for Radda in Chianti.

By train
The hotel is 20 km from the Montevarchi railway station.

By airplane
The hotel is 40 km from the Florence airport.
