Resort Hotel Marinella - Gabicce Mare

We got a fantastic deal and the room was well appointed. Location on the beach was great. Would go back again

Hotel is situated in the centre of a hotel "strip" in a typical Italian beach resort. The hotel is a little tired and could do with updating but provides everything one could wish for, including a good buffet breakfast. Excellent value for money. There is an underground carpark about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The staff will park your car for you or accompany you when you park and were most friendly and helpful. Gabicce Mare/Cattolicca is a fishing port so there are many restaurants a short stroll from the hotel that serve very fresh fish and we had an excellent meal dring our one night stop-over on our way to Salento.

Excellent relationship between price/quality. The view to the beach and to sea is wonderfull (the room had a nice balcon). The hotel and the employes are good but the structure and the facilities of the rooms are dated. I'll appreciate a renewal.

The hotel is located on the waterfront. The service was good. Rooms were average size. The staff were generally helpful. It is a definately family oriented hotel. Most singles and couples (without children) would feel that they are the minority.Otherwise, the beach and surrounding area is so nice that you're rarely in the hotel room. I would consider staying there again.
