Located on the main road with private parking, most convenient for traveler with car. And there is a SITA bus station just in front of the hotel going to Amalfi,so can leave the car at the hotel and just take a short bus ride to Amalfi - free of parking trouble! Room clean and the ocean view is excellent! Warm welcoming, would come back again!

This was a great place! My sister and I traveled here together. Travel was a little tricky to maneuver, because there is upper and lower Furore, and we didn't know which stop to get off of... My sister at one point didn't actually believe there was a Furore because it's not listed on many of the maps of Italy. But we made it, and it was beautiful! The staff was quite friendly and even offered us a ride when the bus drivers went on strike! We ate dinner and breakfast almost every day we stayed, and it was wonderfully fresh and delicious! We also tried the homemade lemoncello which was dangerously great! I would absolutely return to Hotel Bacco!

Nice hotel and helpful staff BUT is somehow far away from everything. Not adviceable for people with no private transport. It's a little bit expensive for its quality, cheaper hotels would offer breakfast.

The hotel was one of the most beatiful hotels i have ever stayed in. The view from the hotel was brethtaking, the staff was very competent, polite and always at hand when needed. Rooms were big, clean and had everything you need in them. The hotel restaurant is very charming, traditionally decorated and where you can serve local wine, fresh sea food and fish(excelent cooked) and delicious deserts. When going back to Amalfi Coast i will surely book another stay in the Baco-Furore Hotel.

hotel trés bien situé en hauteur, vue superbe sur la côte. L'arrivée à partir de Salernes est longue mais elle est due à la côte Amalfitaine, trés bon restaurant.

Bacco is a great value if you don't mind the 30 min bus ride to Amalfi or driving up into the mountains towering over the Amalfi coast - which is hair-raising. The hotel has an outstanding view of the ocean and the vineyards. Service is spotty, but friendly. They aren't too knowledgeable on local sites and attractions, and cannot seem to manage their WIFI system very well, but they are so nice and kind the whole time, you can't really be bothered to care. Parking is a nice, too. Rooms are nice, the showers are a bit small and there were no safes. However, if you're looking for a hotel that is away from the action, this is a really, really nice choice and the road to the hotel and the countryside along the way is an attraction to itself. Strongly recommend this hotel. However, the reviews regarding the restaurant are bit naive. The food is okay and the prices are reasonable, but do not expect outstanding food. Ignore GPS directions to this hotel - head to Amalfi and then toward to Positano - 5 minutes out of Amalfi there is a steep road that cuts up the mountain. Take it for 30 minutes and you'll find the hotel with no problems. Our GPS took us up some other road that is closed to tourists. We parked the car and took the bus service along the coast (the stop is right next to the hotel) which made the trip excellent. The value of the hotel is great...it's a sleeper.

The hotel, the staff, the view, the food in the restaurant (we ate there every night for 10 days) exceeded our expectation in every way. The bus schedule is a little iffy at night. Most people would still be out for dinner when the last bus has left Amalfi, so this is a consideration that people should be aware of. Really you need a car, but then who wants to drive on those crazy roads!!! It was all great fun and we have wonderful memories of the whole adventure.

My boyfriend and I received a warm welcome, all of the staff were very friendly and they even kept the kitchen open for us to have a late lunch! We had a nice room with a terrace with sun loungers and table, and as an added bonus a sitting room with two extra beds! A lot of the rooms seemed to have their own garden or terrace area. Great seaviews, the area is very hilly and steep as is all of the Amalfi Coast. We stayed two nights and ate in the restaurant on both nights which was lovely and reasonable. Furore itself seemed much quieter than other places on the coast. A lovely stay.

This Hotel is a good choice to stay near the Almafitane Cost. The complete atmosphere in the Hotel is excellent, the food is superb; the family members are very charming and make you feel at home. Local wines are also very good.
