Funchal is a clean and pleasant town with several parks and gardens full of flowers, plants and trees which are native to the island of Madeira. There are also numerous museums and monuments for the visitors who would like to know the history of this wonderful site.

Take the dual carriageway following the signs to Funchal. Take the exit Funchal-Hospital-Porto. Take the roundabout and exit at Hospital-Avenida do Mar. At the traffic lights, turn right towards Câmara de Lobos and stay on the left hand lane called Estrada Monumental until you reach the sign for the Tivoli Madeira Hotel.
