Hotel Hubertus - Fulpmes

Nice place and very nice suroundings.

We enjoyed our stay. The only problem was that when we came to pay we were asked to pay in cash - there was no indication of this on any correspondence. (We had to give the normal credit card number on booking as normal, so I assumed that credit cards were acceptable).

I booked two rooms in late June and after a hectic day we were delighted to find a real gem in both the hotel and town itself. First of all, I didn't have directions to the property and brought the wrong map with me because I felt I knew it was south of Innsbruck and there would be an exit with the town marked - WRONG! Went too far and had to take mountain roads to get back. Totally my fault, make sure to get the right directions. I reserved this room because of the price and it was a good spot to stop our travels for the day. We knew nothing of the town or surroundings, so we were shocked to find the rooms were very nice and decent size by European standards. Very comfortable beds and decor. Showers are a bit tight, but standard for Europe. The town is very nice with a lot of hotels and shops, but a very small town feel to it. My wife and I went out for a couple drinks at an outdoor patio and had a nice time. The hotel is run by friendly, hands on owners and they pay attention to every detail. Very clean with a very nice small indoor pool area which we used in the morning. Breakfast was standard European and it was satisfactory. Overall, my wife and I would like to return one day for a couple of days to explore the town and the area more (perhaps for some winter skiing) and would definitely stay at this property again. Very good value for fairly low price.

Very warm welcoming, charming place, helpful owner, bonus: father interested in antique cars - we got a tour in his Citroën B11 to Neustift! And we have got a new friend! Hubertus exceeded our expectations.

Both the proprietress, Mrs. Carmen Wurzer, and her mother are warm hearted and nice people, eager to make all guests feel at home and comfortable. The daily breakfast-buffet offered an abundant variety, each day with many different original and freshly self-made dishes.

Very good location. Plenty of walking opportunities.
