The staff were friendly and tried hard to understand our very basic Italian and English. The was only one member of staff who spoke basic English and she tried very hard to help us. Even writing out the menu in English for us! The dinners were homemade and delicious! The rooms were cool and clean and quiet with shutters to keep our noise and light. The hotel becomes the hub of the town on a Saturday night, lots of people have a jolly good time there. The rest of the time the town and hotel are very quiet. The photos on the website are of the town museum and old buildings.
