The woman at the front desk (with an eastern european accent)is at best cranky and not very welcoming. When I asked about recommendations for places for dinner after she informed me that the hotel's restaurant was full, her immediate response (in a tone that she was annoyed by the question) was, well, if I recommend a restaurant, you may or may not like it. Duh, of course that's a possibility. But I expected her to recommend some possibilities and I will decide where to go. Not a very nice person indeed! Won't go back there.

Double room was far too small with no sitting area. There was no hair dryer, no tea and coffee making facilities and very sparse soap, shampoo etc. Towels were not changed in our 3 night stay. There was no shower curtain and the shower head was at tap level. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable,but for the facilities offered, it should have been half the price. Don't know whether there were better rooms available. Car park took some finding in nearby narrow street.

It was great stay in the centre of old city. However I was little wondered because breakfast was not included and was pretty expensive (13 EUR) and ewery day the same compared to 14,5 EUR for full meal across the street :) Anyway I was happy there

This hotel has a cosy feel. You camnnot beat being able to breakfast on the secluded walled terrace at the rear of the hotel, overhung with colourful foliage and trees. Also ideal for a late evening drink, sitting out in the warm evening. The only thing i would warn against is the daily charge for the secured carpark. It wasn't free as web site states (Sept 06).

Hotel better than photos - really friendly staff - great restaurant (need to book evening)- walking distance to cheaper restaurants in Frejus town (turn right and walk up hill from hotel)- parking useful as difficult elsewhere in Frejus
