Hotel Flora - Frascati

The hotel and room were both very nice, but the shower didn't work properly. The shower head flopped down, directing water against the wall. We didn't have an opportunity to have it fixed as we only stayed one night. Otherwise the hotel was fine and we would probably stay there again.

Booked superiour room but was upgraded to room on top floor (4) with a wonderful terrace with the most wonderful views. Hotel staff very helpfull, some fantastic little relaxing areas around the hotel grounds. Being out of Rome and commuting for sightseeing from frascati is a wonderful way to have a short break in the eternal city.

Very kind staff, excellent room and beautiful view - only drawback - the jacuzzi wasnt really a jacuzzi!

Hotel Flora is a lovely hotel set in a beautiful park-like setting, yet a few minutes walk to the center of Frascati. Although on a busy street, the hotel was extremely quiet. The receptionist recommended two restaurants for dinner; the one we chose was excellent. I have been in Frascati several times, although never in a hotel there. I would definitely go back again.

The Hotel Flora is a great value. It is an elegant little hotel with a nice courtyard, friendly staff and is very close to Frescati centro. It overlooks Rome and is convenient to both Ciampino and Fiumicino.

Our stay was pleasant. The staff were most accommodating, even letting us park our car there while we took the train to Rome, after we had checked out. The staff recommended us to an excellent restaurant nearby.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Flora for 2 weeks as part of our trip to Italy celebrating our 30th anniversary. We had a wonderful time at Hotel Flora and Frascati. Hotel Flora is only a 5 minute walk away from the Frascati train station, and the train takes about 1/2 to get to the Termini in Rome, where it is easy to transfer to the Metro. Thus, we had very convenient access to all the wonderful art and history of Rome, but without the hassles and expense of staying in the big, dirty, noisy city that is Rome. Frascati is a wonderful place. My wife and I enjoyed very much walking around there in the evenings and having dinner at some of the outdoor family restaurants there. After dinner, we frequently had gelato while sitting on the church steps in the crowded main piazza. We felt as if we were experiencing the true Italian way of life. Anna and the rest of the staff at Hotel Flora were wonderful. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms are beautiful, and those with balconies are really spectacular. If we ever get the opportunity to return to Italy, we will definitely stay there again. We highly recommend it to all.

Flora caters for all age groups - we travelled with 2 year old, 20+ son and the rest of us between 35 and 60. We all enjoyed our stay there. The hotel is lovely, well presented, comfortable, extremely clean and full of character. Reception staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was great!

Myself and my husband stayed at the Hotel Flora at the end of May to celebrate my 40th birthday.We decided to stay outside Rome and the Hotel Flora was excellent.The staff,in particular Anna were very welcoming and helpful from the start of our trip.We were lucky enough to have a room with a terrace which had fantastic views and the hotel itself was quiet,the rooms spacious and clean,breakfast was the usual as in most European countries, mostly cakes,but there was cereal,toast and plenty of cheese and fruit.The hotel is only a few minutes walk to Frascati train station and it only takes 20 minutes to travel to Rome Termini.There is a small bar next to the train station where you can purchase any train tickets(far better than trying to work the machine)and would suggest buying a Bige ticket which allows travel all day on trains,Metro and buses(again another tip from Anna!).One piece of advice I would give other travellers is not to travel by taxi from Ciampino Airport to Frascati as the driver quoted 110 Euros!Go to the 1st bus stop beside the taxi rank and get the bus to Ciampino train station,and from there a train to Frascati-2 Euros each!Our plane was delayed and we called the hotel and spoke to Anna who gave us directions on how to get there.Frascati is a small but busy town and at weekends nearly impossible to get a table for dinner,again the staff at Hotel Flora were great,they recommended restaurants(Pinocchios is good)and even called and reserved a table for us.I could not recommend this hotel or its staff more,we had a fantastic time and would definetly stay again.

The Hotel Flora is an excellent hotel located in a quiet and convenient area in Frascati. It is surrounded by gardens and perimeter hedge which provide a tranquil setting in a very busy and fun city. The hotel public areas and rooms are comfortable and well appointed. We arrived in the evening and the desk staff was very friendly and helpful in getting us situated. They made an extra effort in locating phone numbers of friends in Italy. Since Frascati is only 30 minutes from Rome by train, the hotel provided an excellent base for exploring Rome. We had a most enjoyable stay. I would stay at the Hotel Flora again and would recommend it to others.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Flora, the room was fab, the service good, English spoken very well, great location, close to town and train station for trips to Rome. Would definately go back.

This hotel could not be faulted in any way. We loved it. Location was great. Easy access to ~Rome via train ( station within walking distance). Fabulous would recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I had a fabulous time. Anna and her staff could not have been more helpful.The hotel was immaculate. I have already recommended it to my friends. This was our first visit to The Flora-it will not be our last. In fact we hope to return in the Autumn. Many thanks Anna for a very hospitable holiday.
