This hotel is located in a rest area of the A1 motorway in the Rome outskirts. If you want to walk to the closest subway station, then it isn't the best choice (it's just impossible). If you are driving to the hotel from Rome, then you'll need to go to the first exit of the A1 motorway south of Rome, U-turn, and go back to the hotel. It's only about 5 km, but it can be annoying. As for the hotel, it is reasonably comfortable and the price/quality ratio is probably the best you can find in Rome.

Hotel di recente costruzione, dunque al momento in ottime condizioni. Presenta pero' gia' alcuni segni di deterioramento. Speriamo che facciano la manutenzione. Buon rapporto qualita'/prezzo. Decentrato rispetto a Roma, ma per chi vuole spazio e pulizia a poco prezzo ed ha una macchina per raggiungere il centro, e' un ottima soluzione. Colazione migliorabile. Prodotti da discount.

I stayed at this hotel other times, and my evaluation was somewhat better. After a few months I noticed that the maintainance is not optimal and that the heating system (that was not in use when during my earlier stays) is not adequate. The bottom line is that is still a good value, provided that is not too cold.

The hotel is very convenient to the Autostrade, if that's what you need. It was welcoming, the rooms were large, and we had a fine stay. We were close enough to the airport.

Hotel comodo anche se non facilmente raggiungibile, offre però un servizio gentile ed accurato, le camere sono accoglienti, pulite e spaziose, la colazione buona anche se le bevande vengono date con un distributore automatico (gettone compreso nel prezzo). Forse non consigliato per un soggiorno a Roma e dintorni ma ottimo come sosta durante un lungo viaggio.

The Hotel location is dificult to reach, no clear signs are near. Breakfast is served in the Hotel lobby, with no facilities.

In general is everything OK, but ther is not any restaurant or bar in the hotel. You must go to the nearest AUTOGRILL to get somewhat to eat as a dinner. The route given on INTERNET is true, but does not work if somebody wants to find the hotel from the direction of Rome. You cannot cross the motorway A1 from Rom to Napoli only through any villages and it hardens the way and makes difficult to find the hotel itself.On the other hand, if you chose this way (because you want to have a rest after a day in Rome)you will not be able to drive into the hotel car park because there is a massive fence without a door the recepcionist able to open and your car has to be left without any attendance outside of the hotel territory. The man in the front desk was not polite enough as was appropriate in a place something like that. There is an other problem with the breakfast as well. The guests have to consume their food in the recepcion hall and there are only six bar chairs to seat on. The breakfast does not contain any meat or cheese there was only cornettos and cakes, cookes.

Just a plain motel so no other facilities but new and clean. Entry is via motorway service station exit off motorway which can be annoying as only exit from local road is to same car park but fenced off so only access on foot, but when you know this its fine.

Please DO NOT call it the Roma Sud hotel. It is called FastHotel Roma and it is a motel by the side of the autostrada. We spent an hour and a half looking for this hotel, even the locals did not know it. Breakfast is taken standing in the lobby, as in an Italian bar, with cakes and croissants supplied and drinks from the vending machine. It lives up to its name, FastHotel. Really nice bathroom though.

Keep in mind that this is a hotel on a motorway. It's not supposed for long term stay. Apart from a poor breakfast and a lack of public spaces it is really good. Despite being just 200 metres from the motorway it is really quiet.

Pour le voyageur qui arrive à l'aéroport de Rome,pour ensuite se diriger vers le sud du pays, cet hôtel est très bien situé et le rapport qualité prix est unique. Nous le recommenderions aussi pour le voyageur qui arrive du sud .Par contre les indications pour celui qui vient du nord sont imprécises et incomplètes.

Apart for locatin which was on autostrada everything was excellent. A bit of a damper because we wantewd to visit the town of Frascati. If we were passing through this would have been an excellent place to stop.

The pictures don't do justice to this facility: The rooms are much more spacious than the pictures suggest. They are very modern, clean and very comfortable. Location is next to an"autogril" with various types of food and a convenience store. This truly is a Motel, which means that one needs a car to reach it and unless one comes off the autostrada A1 direction Napoli-Roma it can be a bit hard to find. Great value for the price - I was pleasantly surprised and very much enjoyed my stay.

Positive comments: The Roma sud " FAST Hotel" is absolute worth the money. The room are modern, clean and air conditioned, and situated in a nice district of Rome, FRASCATI.The hotel staff is very service minded. Some remarks: The hotel is very close to A1 - autostrada Rome- Napoli. Coming from south it is easy to find, close to the " AUTOGRILL" which is located above the autostrada. Coming from north however is more complex, and you have to leave A1 for Monteporzio,and redirect to A1, to enter the Fasthotel from south.

The problem is that the hotel is far away from ciampino airport.We wanted a taxi but they refused becuse it was to difficult to get there. We had to call the hotel but nobody came. Late we found a taxi we paid 47 euros. So don't tell people the hotel is not so far ....

I really like Roma Sud. It was a little far from the train staion though. More description or the distance and location would be better.
