Savoy Hotel - Frankfurt

I was guaranteed early checked in, but front desk didn't know that information when I was there. They let me wait for a while. Then checked-in the room. The room was disgusting! 10-12 hairs at bathroom and bathtub! When I called front desk they ask me if "I" want to clean it or somebody clean without apology. When I asked to change room, they offer me a room without bathtub because I complained about bathtub! Unbelievable! Chewing gum was on carpet, wall was disgusting. Window area was dusty. And what is worse, something on sheets was itchy! I was booked two night but I stayed over at friends place the night, and checked out next day, although my booking was 2night. If I could get a money back, I love to. Because it was seriously rediculous! Totally not 4star!

Good location. some noisy around. hotel took deposit. but all O.K. if you stay a few days on a business or looking sigth

As the Book Fair was on, the price rocketed to 315 Euros per night excluding breakfast which was excessive for a rather unimpressive, tired-looking hotel near to the station. The room was exceptionally noisy as trams clattered by just under the windows every few minutes.

I'm been here many time and stayed w/you four times. Your breakfast service is excellent and your staff are always in the wings to help. I will stay w/you again becauses your location works well for me.

Very noisy; very bright from street lamp, and rouladen shades would not move, so we could not shut them to block out the light

Excellent location right across from the main train station and a few blocks away from most shops and restaurants. We had a very pleasant time.

This was an adequate hotel for our purpose and low priced. Unfortunately, we had a couple in the adjoining room that got home at 12 midnight and then talked loudly and played music for the remainder of the night. Not what we needed have flown in from Australia that day!!!

Travel from Paris through Frankfurt, depart via airport. Hotel excellent, good value and we would recommend it. Good location, close to station, a bit noisy with the trams going over the points outside but quieter at night.

Nice business-class hotel with a great breakfast. Wasn't in town for long so the hotel provided a great place where I could relax when not walking around town. Would definetly recommend it

We stayed for two nights and it was a great stay the hotel is right across from central station so transport is near, nice clean and friendly hotel. Would reccommend.

The Savoy hotel offered a basic, no frills clean room with an excellent location. The staff was very friendly and efficient. If you want quiet, ask for a room in the back. The front rooms do have some traffic noise, but I like the sounds of the city, and I loved looking out the window and seeing the street cars and train station. We took the two hour bus tour of Frankfurt, which has an office/pick up directly across the street. You can walk to the flea market along the river on Sat morning, or catch a quick train to an enchanting village. Try to purchase a plan that includes breakfast, as it is 15 Euro per person if you buy it there. The breakfast was good, but that bacon on the buffet needed to be cooked more for my taste. I would rate it a three star, but is a good value for the money.

Lots of freebies -- like the mini-bar, the welcome drink, etc. good location, tiny room

This is a good mid priced hotel that definetly cater's more for travelers and sales people than families due to its location to the train station and surounding night time areas. Very easy to get to from the airport approx 20 mins terminal to hotel .A small leisure centre with nice welcoming staff all most as nice as the front desk staff............

This is a 4-star hotel that appears as a 2-3 star hotel as my first impression. The noise from the aircondition in the hall outside my room could was loud and could be heard from inside the room. But the very "un-4-starish" thing is that the room didn't have any aircondition, just a fan in the ceiling. So I opened the window facing the backyard at night but it was even more aircon noise threre. But I slept well anyway. The good sides of the Savoy is the price, the location (100 meters from the central train station, 50 meters from the metro entrance), the really nice breakfast and the lovely swimmingpool at the top floor with great view of half Frankfurt. I even had the pool all to myself. So even with strong flaws it's good value for money.

Quiet, clean althought he room was small. For the price, especially the breakfast which was included, this is an excellent deal. Breakfast is better than most 5 star hotels.

It is very expensive but rooms are clean. single comfort rooms are very small and unnecessarily expensive, bed is not a real bed, it was awful. they took 15 euros per night for a smoking room. but the hotel is very close to main train station (hauptbahnhof) and public transportation. breakfast is excellent.

This hotel has a great location right across the street from the Frankfurt main train station. The pool/sauna/spa is really nice and the breakfast is fantastic - full breakfast, not continental, the welcome drink was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My only complaint was no air conditioner or fan. It was very hot when we were there and the only way to cool off the room was to open the window, but then that lets in all the noise from the street. Overall, this hotel is a great bargain and I would highly recommend it.

Breakfast has been great and included in the final price. In the afternoon at 4.30 pm in the lobby, the direction provides a break with fruits and cakes. Room was a standard one and the forniture was very old, but the price was very low. The hotel is in the city center in front of the rail station and few steps from the Ryan transfer if you have used the Frankfurt Havn airport. Beautiful swimming pool in the roof.

The room ( a double bed) was very very small and the bed, against the wall, was very unconfortable. But the little bathroom was very clean and just renewed, the room very quiet, the breakfast very rich and, overall, I recommand the hotel for the splendid and very new fitness area.For a beautiful hour we were alone in the warm swimmingpool on the roof, with large windows watching the sunset, with sauna, steam bath and solarium only for us ! A great experience.

(1) The location is very convenient for transportation as it is in front of the Frankfurt central station (Hauptbahnhof). (2) Facilities are correspond to the price that is reasonable. (3) Breakfast is excellent.
