We reserved a room for 3 person (triple) and we got a double with a bunk bed. The hotel was over booked and they did not readjust the price according to the fact that this was not a triple room. the hotel is right in front of a strip bar and the night was very noisy. The room was clean and the breakfast was OK. Nothing fancy.

Everything ok and pretty comfortable and quiet stay despite the red light neighborhood. No real safe deposit at reception.

The site did not provide an information about the fact that the hotel is located in red light district area. I would recomend Elbe hotel to travelers who are looking for sex adventures. But the others who ale looking for quiet and peacefull stay should choose hotel in other part of town.

Camere silenziose e comode.Grandissima disponibilità del prprietario e collaboratori. A parte la vicinanza della zona a luci rossi è stato un ottimo soggiorno.

Reasonable price, good choice of tv channels, fine breakfast are the pluses. A bit far from the very center (15-20 min walk), somewhat incompetent and even rude staff, very small rooms, no wi-fi are the minuses.

Nice little hotel tight between city centre and the central station. Only bad thing about this place is that it is on Franfkurts "red-light"-street. So, a little noicy sometimes at night (we slept with window open). Staff didn't speak very good english and didn't seem to know very much about the town either. Part from these two things, we had a really good stay.

Accommodation was nice - just a surprise to find it in the redlight district.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OF THE eLBE HOTEL IS UNSAFE FOR FAMILIES with children, BUT ok ENOUGH for young adults. there were fights in front of the hotel, human excrement on the sidewalks and people smoking crack & shooting up intravenous drugs in front of the hotel. The elevator was broken in the hotel. we wanted a large bed but only got two single beds.

Bathrooms were far too small, washbasin was not adequate for adult use and the fact that it was right next to the red light district was not mentioned in the brochure or net

After a rather kurt welcome, we were informed that our room was still not ready. We returned later and were 'satisfied' with the basic room as it was only a short break for us. However, on our return to the hotel at night (~10pm) we were informed that we would have to move out of our room. No reason was given and no alternative offered. We refused to go, went to our room and fell asleep - nothing was mentioned (apology or otherwise) when we checked out the next day.

El Hotel está realmente bien: las habitaciones tienen un mobiliario nuevo y hay de todo. Como hotel, muy muy buena nota para el precio. El barrio está repleto de clubes para hombres, quizá la única pega.

I had a short, but pleasant stay at Elbe. All I wanted was a clean, quiet room with a shower and that is what was provided at a fair price. The hotel is not in the best part of town, but I had no bad experiences. The proximity to the train station was great and was one of my reasons for picking Elbe. I would definitely stay there again if I'm ever in Frankfurt.

When I have made my reservation on September 17 th it was indicated on the confirmation of reservation that my credit card would not be debited and that the credit card was only used to guarantee my reservation. In fact my credit card has already been debited the same day.So you say things which are not correct. When I have left the hotel on December 2nd, I had to argue because at the beginning the hotel was saying that I had to pay for the room; then I have proved that my credit card had already been debited.By chance I had taken with me a copy of my American Express account. The hotel has finally accepted this but wanted me anyway to sign a credit card receipt for 207 € which I have refused to do. As a summary all this has been unpleasant

Very nice place! Friendly and clean, and not as boring and anonymous as lots of other hotels. It`s in the red light district, so don`t expect it to be very quiet, but it`s really a good place to stay. TOP!

Everything was wonderful except the quietness. The hotel is surrounded by the night club, carbaret show shop etc. The time I could go to sleep nearly at 3 am.Maybe if we got the higher floor, it may be getting better. But we've got the room on 3th floor. Its very noisy all night.

This place was a great deal. Easy to find, though near the red light district, it's not actually in it and is quite safe of a neighborhood. If you're looking for a place close to the central train station, this place is excellent for it's location. When we first arrived, we weren't sure what was going on since phone calls were made about our reservation. They ended up putting us at a hotel next door and we were quite pleased. The only drawback was the bathroom was extremely small and the door to our room we had problems with a few times until we figured out the "trick" to it. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was served at the "bar" downstairs and was delicious. Fresh rolls and bread, yogurt, cereal, fruit, fruit cocktail, meat and cheese, milk, coffee, tea, juice, and water. For such a cheap price we paid, this place was well-worth it. We enjoyed our stay in Frankfurt.
