Booked a double and got 2 twins pushed together with individual bedding . . not quite our idea of a "double" - huge room though. The staff were friendly and accommodated our request for a late checkout. Unable to rate the bar area as it's a smoking area which makes the whole ground floor smell of smoke. Breakfast room was great with a good selection of food. Great restaurant just across the road. Wife indulged in the in-room spa service and had the best remedial massage of her life.

The hotel is not air conditioned at all. I checked in and walked out immediately after seeing my tiny shabby room and verifying that the hotel is not air conditioned. The hotel was way below my expectations.

The provided service was super. We were in a 4hour traffic jam, which resulted in us arriving at the hotel at 3:50 a.m. The staff was really helpfull and super in service.

We were in Frankfurt for the Frankfurt Book Fair. This hotel was well located and comfortable. The interior rooms are very quiet. We had a great meal across the street at the new Home Restaurant.I would go back.

We are a family of four who stayed at the Bristol Hotel in March of 2009. The accommodations I requested included one room with a double bed and one room with two twin beds for two, young adult boys. I was very conscientious in confirming, via E-mail, that we would have the accommodations we requested. The hotel confirmed, via E-mail we would have two twin beds in one of our rooms. Upon arrival, after a rather long flight, we found one of the rooms only had one twin bed. The receptionist was accommodating and upgraded the room and brought in an extra bed. According to the reviews I read the hotel is not in the best neighborhood and tended to be noisy. The noise part is definitely true. If you’re not used to city noise, including police/fire sirens, you will have a hard time sleeping…request a room off of the main street. We were totally comfortable walking from the train stations to the hotel and other than the noise the location was not a problem for us. As in the other reviews the breakfast was excellent! Without a doubt it was the best breakfast we had in any of the hotels we stayed in on three trips to Europe. Overall the rooms were very clean, as were the bathrooms. They were a bit on the small side but OK for the one night we were there. We would definitely stay in this hotel on our next trip to Frankfurt providing we could get a more quiet room off the main street.

Nice hotel, we had good time in Krankfurt. The hotel is new but the room smelled really bad of smoke!the bathroom was small and with no samples(no shower cup for example). Even if in the city center, the hotel is closed to the train station, safer than other city but we did not liked the neighborhood. The hotel is so new that no one was able to help us to find the street or the hotel! Wonderful breakfast.

I was redirected to The Pure hotel a sister Hotel of the Bristol. The Pure is a great hotel with all the facilities, including wireless internet, a gym and a Sauna-bath facility with great showers with all the waterjets and gadgets for water massage. Breakfast was really good, with a selection of exotic fruits and berries as well as a full continental breakfast. The hotel is clean and very modern having just been commisioned after a major renovation. Everything is new and works. The staff all spoke English and were very efficient and helpful and are well trained.

We loved staying at the Bristol. The staff were fabulous - they made us feel right at home. They helped us find the perfect restaurant for a late dinner and were always extremely friendly, even at 5am. Although I'm not a fan of Frankfurt, I would welcome the chance to go there again if I could stay at the Bristol.

The hotel is a short walk from Frankfurt HbF, so there was no need to catch a taxi. The value for a single night's stay on a weekend was outstanding. I did not check the weekday prices but, given that Frankfurt is a major commercial centre, I guess that prices might rise somewhat. The rooms are a little on the small side, but fine for a reasonably short stay. The purpose of our visit was to go to the opera. Frankfurt has a fine new opera house - it's a pity the production didn't live up to ther environment! So far as sights were concerned, the city had more to offer than we had expected (my only visits there before were to change planes or to change from planes to trains - not a really good way of finding out about a place). Not too good for dining after the opera - we didn't find a restaurant open at 23h00, so thank goodness that we had had a proper lunch!

The hotel is very close the the Hauptbahnhof. My friend and I arrived after dark and we were able to easily walk to the hotel with much excess baggage in tow. The night receptionist recommended a nearby German restaurant that was excellent. I had wonderful, long anticipated, rippchen. The room was a good size for two persons and everything was very clean. My only complaint is that we were on the first floor in a back room located over the trash bins. I did not ask to be moved; management would have probably complied. We were too tired to gather our belongings and move to another room. I like to leave the windows wide open and there was quite a bit of noise from the courtyard of an adjoining, unpleasant looking building. The noise from outside and our view of the trash (there wasn't an unpleasant odor) were the only drawbacks at this hotel. We heard no noise from within the hotel. The breakfast buffet is extensive and very good and there is free internet access in the lobby. The hotel bar offers drinks but no food. I would stay at the Bristol again, if I made sure I had a room with a pleasant view.

This hotel, while not in the main part of town, certainly has charm and atmosphere! The staff are pleasant and knowledgible and getting around is quite easy from this location. The hotel has one of the best breakfasts in Europe (even has Vodka on ice for those who need a bit of the hair of the dog). While the rooms are small, they´re very efficient and quite comfortable.

The hotel is only a short walk from the mainstation. We booked a nonesmoking room, which wasn't available at check-in. We were asked to take a smokingroom. The room didn't smell at all like cigarets and was in the corner of the building, what means that the room was almost twice as big as a normal one. The breakfast was very good and offered for everybody something. The people at the reception were very nice and helpful, check-in/out was very quick. I can recomend this hotel

This hotel is located within 3 minutes walk from the central station. I enjoyed staying at this hotel because its room is very modern, stylish, and clean. I felt as if I were in NY. In particular, its breakfast is very delicious and luxurious. I will use this hotel again when I next stay in Frankfurt. I can recommend to everyone with confidence.

A very good hotel, well-located (near rail station) - except that a walk thru the red-light district is necessary to get into centre of town, but this criticism applies to many other hotels located near station. Otherwise very happy with my stay, and impressed by Venere service!
