This is an exceptional hotel! Our room was enormous, really clean and very quiet and amazingly decorated. The staff were very kind and helpful. The location is excellent - only a few minutes walk from Sudbanhof, where there is a direct tram taking about seven minutes to get to the Messe/Trade Show arena. There is a great variety of restaurants within a short walk of the hotel and the area is very safe to walk around at night. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to the Trade Shows or sightseeing in Frankfurt - we were doing both! Also, you can get a bus straight from the airport to Sudbanhof - only about 20 minutes.

Very good! A clean, well-run hotel that is in a very, very old mansion - so the rooms are so unique and beautiful. Great value!

I was interested and booked this hotel by its name as 'Hotel am Berg'. And, what a charming hotel this is!!! Room is spacious enough and very clean. This hotel looks like accept only several travellers or families, so it was very quiet as I was in my relative's home. Breakfast is personally served in elegant style and evrything are fresh and tasty. Hotel location is 4 minutes walk from Frankfurt South station and people can find many tasty Apple Wine Taverns near here.

The hotel photo was misleading and the room looked nothing like the room pictured on the web page. Our room looked like it came out of a hippie's design from the 1060s. This hotel is more like a boarding house than a hotel. The breakfast, which is 10 Euro per person, however was excellent. This was only a 1 night stopover for us while we waited for our flight at Frankfurt.

All staff very friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the breakfasts which were imaginatively presented in the pleasant surroundings of the conservatory. Our room was impressively large and very comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice. The only drawback was traffic noise particularly early in the morning-our room faced the street.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Am Berg. The room was more than adequate and the breakfast (especially out in the garden) was quite delicious, filling, relaxing and well presented by a very friendly hostess. We were able to walk to everything we needed. August was a little hot for no air conditioning, but the balcony was quite nice.
