Besides all the good things I need to mention the great brekkie: healthy, lots of and a great variety on offer. Though the suroundings are not pretty the hotel itself is great and so conveniently situated steps from Central Station. I shall certainly be back

All things considered, a very good deal. I paid 59€ + 10€ for the parking space for a double room. Only negative remark, the bed was a bit small as a double bed (140cm).

I stayed one night in Frankfurt and return immediately. The hotel was clean and the staffs were friendly. The significant part was that the receptionist on my arrival spoke very good English. I have been to several hostel in Frankfurt and know that this is quite rare over there. The breakfast was also quite good. It was a typical breakfast which is served in all German hostels. The only drawback of the hostel was the neighborhood. It is quite close to the red-light, which could be bad or good depending on your taste. However, an astounding number of addicted people, with repulsive appearances, are seen in Frankfurt center. One time, I saw some of these guys, fallen down, in the allay where the hotel is located. However, you might not experience this as the hotel is a bit far from the places where these guys are gathered. I should also note that these scenes could happen around any hostel in the center, so you may decide not to lose this convenience for the unlikely chance of encountering with such scenes. In general, I would strongly recommend it for short-stay travelers to Frankfurt.

Incredibly convenient for the Hauptbahnhof (which was a major consideration for me), but also in very good condition, and surprisingly quiet, given its location (though I was on the 6th floor, so perhaps not THAT surprising!). You should be aware that turning right out of the main entrance leads you to a fairly seedy part of Frankfurt - turn left (towards the station) and you'll be fine. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Would stay there again.

We found it hard to locate as the road does not go through as it shows on the map. It was a small room and bathroom but adequate. Major renovations hapening next door so there was no hope of sleeping in! The breakfast was great and the staff competent. It is close to the station so is handy for an overnight stay before travelling on.

A great hotel for someone who needs a place near the train station in Frankfurt. It was a little difficult to find because the street is impeded by a building and there is only a passageway but I figured it out. The staff are nice and the breakfast was good. I'd stay there again. The hotel staff pointed out that if I walked in a specified direction I would be in a red-light zone, but I found it very tame!

Excellent location, very nice people. Very close to main train station, so there are some slightly scary people in the neighborhood, but if you mind your own business they seem no problem, also station is well policed. Print the google maps location map so you know exactly where you are going. Very highly recommended if you need a place near the station.

Very convenient to the main train station. Room was a small single but spotlessly clean. Bathroom looked new, also very clean. Good breakfast included. Perfect place to stay when in transit through Frankfurt. Check-in was very efficient and all employees very kind.

I enjoyed staying at the Hotel Adler, in fact, I booked another night when I was again passing through Frankfurt a couple of weeks later. The first time the room was not that quiet due to construction work nearby so I asked for a room on the opposite side of the building the second time, which was much better. The surroundings and outlook are not attractive but the hotel is very convenient to the central railway station, the room was comfortable, staff very helpful and the service good. Good value for money.

Convenient to the Hauptbahnhof, but in a very unpleasant immediate vicinity haunted by diverse unsavory persons round the clock. Nicer locations near the train station have been much more expensive.
