Colour Hotel - Frankfurt

This is my third time in Frankfurt. I just met a buisness man.

Pros : 1. Good Location 2. Good transports connectivity 3. OK price ( visited during Heimtex Fair and hence understand a little extra hike in price ) 4. Good for a single accomodation on business/personal visits to Frankfurt Cons : 1. Very Small Rooms 2. Not much of facilities in the hotel 3. Very cramped for an accomodation with children 3. Probably not suitable

If you just want to stay in Frankfurt for one day is O.K.

This was my first stay at Colour Hotel, but not the last. Only stayed for one night. In my opinion a good price / quality ratio.

It is not clean and the room was smelly. Lighting was very poor. One kept feeling as to when one is going to leave the hotel! I did not think it worthy to stay in at all!

This was my lsat stop on a brief tour around Europe which included Koln, Amsterdam, Bruges and Brussels. Hotel Colour was the cheapest room I got, and was by far the nicest. The room was on par with hotels that I have paid more than double the price for in other places. First of all the location is fantastic. About a 2 minute walk from the main train station, metro and buses that service the airport. Also within walking distance of the river, and the central shopping area. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Room was very large. Much larger than I'd expect for a single. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. A lovely hotel that I would recommend to anyone visiting Frankfurt. I will definitely stay in this hotel again!

Exactly what was wanted

Good evening! Hashim, the recepcionist was a very unkind person. He had a mistake in our ckeck in and he tried to make the mistake ours. When he had just realized that He didn't apologized to us. Very rude! But the hotel was clean, nearly to station and places and it had a good price.

I recommend this hotel for every body. Very close to train station and the location is very good. this was the best hotel I had when traveling in 5 countries and 6 cities in Europe.

Very near train station. Easy walk to center and art museum. Somewhat loud at night from traffic until later, but no pedestrian noise (no bars, etc). East of the train station is the red light district, this hotel is South.

Everything is fine, but for the pay TV .... if any free TV and Free WiFi is provided would be better.

The design of the lobby is modern and colourful. The hotel is located near the main train station. It is good for a short stay.

Excellent price, very nice hotel and with a modern style, excellent breakfast buffet(not included in the price)

Inappropriate welcoming. Immediately after check in, the clerk started explaining how to use the pay-tv programs and the costs of adult movies. It looked we were checking into a dirty hotel. However, all the other guests also looked decent, repectful and from different age groups...so we decided to spend that night, but promised not to return again!

Ecxcellent place, good location, welcoming staff & yet cheap priced. Highly recomend.

Very happy with Colour Hotel, especially the closeness to the railway station. We would recommend it to others.

Good value for money and excellent location about 100m from Frankfurt station. But we found many Frankfurt hotels to be good value, especially compared to France and Italy. Also see reviews on two other hotels in same area all very close to station -Excelsior Hotel where we also stayed (even better value at €67 for double room including breakfast, free minibar and much more included) -National Hotel (attached to Colour Hotel and managed jointly – 4 star hotel for only €79 for double room plus breakfast at €9 per person – really inexpensive for a good quality hotel) Large room, big bathroom, very comfortable. No complaints at all, for the price bracket. Breakfast extra at €8 per person (in National Hotel breakfast room next door – same breakfast as National who charge €9 per person)

This hotel was located SUPER close to the subway station and was in walking distance of a great area. My only complaint is that the rooms are NOT soundproof. If your neighbor is having a late night conversation, you may as well be a part of it also. You can hear people coming in and out at all hours and the doors seem to slam alot.

I had read that the single rooms were small. And mine was VERY small. The ensuite bathroom was almost as large as the room itself. But the price and proximity to the train station were great. I was in Frankfurt for only one night and the perfect for my needs. Also, the free welcoming cocktail was a nice touch.

I gave a weekend to my girlfriend for her birthday, it was the first time in Frankfurt, I didn't know any hotel there and I had a low budget, so I preferred something original instead of a classical one in the cheap category, and also my girlfriend loves colours. PROS: it's original, really close to the train station and there are 2 PCs available with free internet access. CONS: the rooms are small and there isn't the hairdryer in the bathroom. I would advise it to everybody likes something different for a cheap price and close to the station. P.S.: she liked it! ;-)

Essential hotel, nothing more and nothing less than you need, good price and good location near the railway station, infront of the underground and the bus station. The surroundings are not so nice

Suited us fine. The hotel was mostly clean and we had no problems while we were there. It was central (near the train station) and came with free internet so you could use the computers in the lobby. The staff spoke english well and the bartender was very friendly. The only negative is that the hotel room was a little small and worn but it was a good place to stay for the price charged.
