City Hotel-West - Frankfurt

L'hotel si trova proprio a 200m dalla stazione centrale. Si riescono a raggiungere con comodità le diverse zone della città: è molto vicino al fiume ed al quartiere Sachsenhausen, nonchè al centro storico del Roemer ed ai grattacieli. Insomma un'ottima posizione per chi viaggia per piacere (ed anche per affari)... La vicinanza alla HauptBahnHof è però anche la sua pecca: le persone che vi scorrazzano non sono le più raccomandabili! Invece la via dell'albergo (a luci rosse) è una via come tante altre! Non si vede assolutamente nulla da fuori ed è una via molto tranquilla. La colazione è ricca e buona. La camera era come descritto sul sito ed inoltre pulita, spaziosa e luminosa. Il personale molto disponibile e cortese a dare informazioni ed indicazioni. Insomma... lo consiglio.

First stay at the hotel. Very exceptional and friendly staff. Breakfast was more than could be expected for the price of the room. Area surrounding the hotel is typical big city night-life area; probably not appropriate for younger children. Room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again/

the hotel is literally in the middle of the red light district, between two brothels, but our room faced a quiet backyard - no problem at all! staff was efficient and helpful,room spotlessly clean, breakfast ok considering the reasonable price. i would definitely stay again at this hotel if they gave me the same room:)

very convenient to the station, very pleasing red lights all around but we were not hassled and felt safe and an easy walk into the city centre. good continental breakfast

A part the position in the middle of the red light area that I knew, nothing to complaint. Very close to the station. Good choice unless you like Hotel with big receptions that is not the case at all.

El hotel está bastante bien, es relativamete nuevo y aceptablemente limpio. El baño es muy pequeño, demasiado. El desayuno variado y abundante, no tengo quejas a éste respecto. La zona en la que se encuentra es el barrio rojo de Frankfurt, por lo que estás rodeado de sex-shop, streepstease y prostíbulos. De día no es demasiado evidente, pero de noche impone bastante. De todas formas, mi marido y yo ibamos solos y no tuvimos ningún problema. Por contra, la ubicación es excelente, a dos pasos del río, del Romen y de la zona de los rascacielos y la comercial. Es decir, de todo lo que merece la pena de esta ciudad

Room was great, the hotel is placed in extremely convenient place, near everything but kind of noisy at night because is in the red distric area. The only complain I have is that I did not get a wake up call as asked, when I told reception they said I was laying.

Hotel was OK! But rooms were not so clean as we wanted them to be and for 4 day nobody cleaned it and there were no shower gel!

This hotel is found in a prostitution area surrounded by night clubs, sex-shops, people offering sex services all the time to everybody that walks on that place. Thus, in spite the hotel is a familiar one, its site is not adequated. However, hotel services, employees, rates, etc. are really good.

If you don't mind that the hotel is located in the "red-light" district of Franfurt this is an excellent choice close to the central station.

Tot molt bé: les habitacions molt netes, grans i comfortables; així com també l'esmorzar, un buffet bastant complet. Dues coses negatives: el barri on està situat l'hotel està plè de sex-shops i prostitutes pel carrer, fins i tot en plè dia; l'altra cosa és que ens van donar una habitació que estava separada de la del costat només per una porta i sentiem tots els sorolls. En general, però, en faig una bona valoració i si mai torno a Frankfurt i tornaré a anar.

It was not explained that the quarter is a 'red-lights' area, but in general it was all calm and acceptably peaceful.. There were few public areas in the hotel (none but the breakfast room), but this is only a thing I noticed: there were not any false information in the web pages! In general I liked much my stay there.. ALberto

The hotel itself was great. The rooms were clean and very nicely decorated. Internet available for a reasonable price. Only problem was the entire street had many sex shops. I had read a review that said a few sex shops nearby. It is more than a few. I had a child with would not recommend to families with small children.

It's in the middle of sex area and the price is not good for have toilette's smell in the (broken) elevator.

Rooms are very confortable and clean. The hotel staff is kind and helpful. The receptionist speaks also Italian. Breakfast is generous. The hotel is 5 minutes on foot from the station and 10 from the city centre even if it's locatet in the sex district (don't worry it's safe).

Great value. Located right in the heart of the red-light district in Frankfurt, though. Didn't bother me, but I doubt it's for everyone.

L'albergo è in una buona posizione per visitare la città ed è vicinissimo alla stazione. La via anche se piena di sexy-shop è molto tranquilla. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo.

This hotel is located in the redlight district. If this is not a matter for you. I highly recommend it. Reasonable price, friendly staff, clean room.

The hotel is in the red light district. I stayed with my sister and we would both definitely go back as long as we were coming and going at the same time. Drugs and prostitues are obvious but we were never approached and felt safe. The rooms are really nice and the staff are fluent and are at reception 24 hrs so you can feel safe. The hotel is excellent value for money.

I think the hotel is very clean and the rooms are quite large. As indicated, it is near to the train station. The shopping center(Haupteache Platz) is in walking distance (15 minutes most, I think). But there are a couple of sex shops nearby. If you ok with that, then I think it is a good choice.
