Hotel Pigalle - Forte dei Marmi

This is a very nice, very clean, modern hotel within five minutes walk of the city center. The free parking area inside the hotel is very useful, as parking can be problematic in Forte. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Many rooms have a panoramic balcony. The bathrooms are small, but very clean and brightly lit. Heating is very good in winter. Air conditioning is good enough in summer. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast might be perceived as basic, depending on your nationality, but it has improved. You can rent bicycles for a reasonable rate from the hotel. The room rates are quite fair when compared to the cost of rental accommodation in Forte dei Marmi. The best attribute of this hotel is the excellent location; very close to the center, but in a pleasantly quiet residential neighborhood.

For the price, this is a decent hotel for sure. Nothing special, but a good place to sleep and well located just a few short blocks from the main shopping and eating streets of town. Just on the corner of the block of the hotel you have a little market, nice yogurt shop, champagne lounge, places to buy beach things, etc. It's a fine location if you don't want to spend to be just a few blocks away and a few blocks closer to the beach. The beach is only a 5 minute walk really. Everything is close by. The hotel itself had nice staff that were helpful. Breakfast was basic but good and sufficient. You really want to save room for a nice lunch because food in town is great. The main problem I had with the hotel was that our air conditioning did not work. I had an awful last night there because of this, but the staff the next day when they found out seemed legitimately concerned and wanted to fix it. So this was surely just bad luck for me. In sum, for the price, this is a decent place to stay. It's perfect for people that want a clean decent place but don't want to spend a lot of money.

Structure need to be renewed

Great hotel for families. A few blocks off the beaten track so quiet at night, but only a short walk to town square, with good restaurants & shopping, or beach. Forte dei Marmi is an excellent home base for day trips to Pisa, Florence, Cinque Terre, etc.

I was the only person staying at the hotel so difficult to judge many of the aspects. Room was clean and breakfast good but not outstanding. Attentive staff but lacking any feeling of "friendliness". Well located for the main attractions of the town, all easily reached by foot. On site car parking a strong asset, particularly one would think in the main season. Would have been useful if the hotel could have provided some guide on where to eat ,especially during a time of the year when many establishments along the coast are closed.

We found some of the staff to be very eccentric. Nothing wrong with the hotel, but the girl at breakfast was unfriendly, and the owners appeared to be having arguments all the time. i suppose it was amusing.

Great place to have your hollyday! I would defenetely come again. The staff is really nice, very friendly atmosphere, the price correspondes to the quolity.

Enjoyed our 4 days stay, everything as described on website was accurate. Our only complaint was the girl who was on breskfast duty should change shifts as it was obvious that the early morning start didn't agree with her. What a grumpy person to have to meet first thing at breakfast.Other than that the hotel was great and will return next year for longer period

Modern refurbished room. Cleanliness of all areas was outstanding. Great location close to the town centre and yet very quiet. Inclusive parking was a bonus. For the time of year the room was hot but the air conditioning was not switched on. The breakfast is awful, little choice, stale bread and terrible coffee. The staff are a mixed bunch .. the cleaners were very friendly but the waitress at breakfast time downright rude. Reception staff helpful when enquiries were made but they appear to be strssed and unhappy. Overall we would recommend Pigalle certainly it is excellent value.

A beautiful hotel, with nice staff and parking round the back. Close to the seafront, will certainly go back

Ottimo hotel, ristrutturato da poco. Le stanze sono molto ma molto piu ampie di come si vede in foto. Un hotel comodo, abbastanza vicino al mare. Bagno incredibilmente ampio, armadio per 5 persone, davvero un'hotel di ottima qualità. Colazione a buffet abbondante e davvero buona. Da come si puo capire ci tornerò.
