Hotel Il Negresco - Forte dei Marmi

Ours was a short, one-night stay so we didn't meet any other people. There were public works going on at the front of the hotel so the parking was a bit of a problem but it wasn't any reflection on the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Excellent service & competent staff. Not exactly the Ritz but a nice clean hotel across the street from the beach. Of the three rooms we had reserved one was literally next to the Reception. As the hotel was fully booked we were not able to change rooms. Our children enjoyed the playroom, and the lady running it is patient with kids and taught them to make some handicrafts. We would return.

For the price I paid everything was just perfect

The staff at the Il Negresco are what made this stay so enjoyable. They were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean but quite small. However, the windows must be triple paned because although we were facing the street right near the bus station, you could not hear a peep of traffic. I thought the location was great and would definitely stay here again.

It was a very good hotel for a 1 night stay and the servise was good considering I was not a long stay holiday maker in the very popular resort of this part of Italy.
