An excellent place to stay for a very reasonable price right next to the Boboli gardens (unless the price we received from Venere was a special one time discount -- it is after all rated as a 4 star hotel, but more so in the 3 star category). It is a little bit further away from the main train station, but is definitely worth the extra effort. Excellent breakfast! Clean rooms and bathrooms. Friendly and courteous staff. Only thing I would change would be the access to the "free" internet (i.e. price included in room cost). The access was of exceptionally poor quality. Did not matter which time of the morning or night. They should charge a bit more for the daily room rate and install a better quality system. Would definitely recommend this place to stay! Had a great time, and would go there again -- hopefully soon.

Very convenient hotel if you don't want to stay in the middle of the town but be able to reach it easily. I would go there again if in Florence.

Nice and quiet place near Palazzo Pitti. A bit far away from Ponte Vecchio (15mn walk) but you have bus (#37/36) stops close by that will drive you to Ponte Vecchio and to the train station. Very good buffet for breakfast. Prefer rooms inside the House. Rooms in the annex are a bit larger (which is good if you go with kids)but with "cheaper" furniture and appear less romantic.
