Hotel Ungherese - Florence

The hotel looks not bad, staff are very polite and pleasant, the room is clean. Although the hotel is really far from the centre (about 30-40 minutes walking), you may get there by bus and beside that the district is quite nice, there are a lot of small shops and caffees. But - real problem was in lack of quitetness in the room. At 6 a.m. the car, that takes the garbage away, comes and if your window is open, you may say goodbye to your sleep. Approximately from 7 a.m traffic starts, so it's really complicated to fall asleep again. Even if you usually sleep like a log.

I chose this hitel cause it was highly marked in this site, but when i got there i wondered how could it be possible that its vote was 8! It's hardly sufficient! Too far from the center (30 minutes walk) and Shabby as an hostel! The unique positive aspect was the breakfast with fresh croissant. I'll never go back again!

A small room in the basement, very narrow with a very small bathroom. The shower in the middle of the bathroom,water all over the floor. You get what you pay for!

Very nice hotel, small bathroom, but very clean, comfortable, quite rooms. Staff VERY polite and helpful. Ask for room 3 or 4 which have private doors to the pretty terrace. Nice breakfast in cute room downstairs. Parking available for $20. at close, safe garage. Very good value...will definately stay there again.

Very nice hotel, boutique style, with helpfull owners, little far from city center.

A clean, quiet and friendly hotel set in a peaceful residential area on the outskirts of Florence.Has much character. Highly recommended and with a convenient bus stop very close providing easy access to the city centre. Staff very welcoming. I have been to Florence many times and this hotel stands out if you are looking for the quieter option.

Very nice old fashioned hotel, a bit off centered but very nice location. No internet, nice welcome, good breakfast and really pleasant patio. A good place to stay in Florence.

Internet access would be nice. Street side noise a bit. Space in the shower cabin is small.

The hotel was just what we wanted. Our family room was nicely furnished, very clean and we felt welcomed and were given plenty of information about getting into Florence, etc. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of cerals, rolls, pastries. We were recommended to a local trattoria for our evening meal which was perfect, lively, cheap and local. The area felt safe and friendly. Parking was right outside. Only problem was negotiating the one way streets - take your own map and directions!

Nous sommes partis à Florence à la dernière minute et nous n'avons pas été déçu par l'hôtel qui était vraiment en phase avec la description faite sur internet... Avec la climatisation en plus et le parking (public en fait) gratuit ! La literie est vraiment très bien, le petit déjeuner aussi (mais servi entre 7h30 et 9h30 seulement) et l'hôtel est un peu loin du centre mais dans l'ensemble, je recommande à 100%. Sabi parle français sinon c'est galère !

This little hotel was a great place to stay for a weekend in Florence. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable and neat. The bus trip to the city center was easy and breakfast was delicious - great cappuccino.

Nice, clean, friendly hotel. Very happy with service. A bus ride from the city centre but was nice to stay out of the city for a few days. I would stay at this hotel again.

Even if indicated in Venere web-site the hotel has no car places available. However, the Owners did their best in order to help us in finding a place where to leave our car during our whole stay. They've been very kind. We absolutely suggest this hotel to anybody who wants to visit Florence without spending too much.
