Hotel Roma - Florence

I was given a room, which windows opened on a space between buildings, the wall was at one meter length, so no view at all, no fresh air and the air conditioning was very noisy. I hope double rooms are nicer. The location is great and the breakfast is excellent.

We spent two nights in Florence, the room was a bit cramped but our experience overall was very good. The staff made us very welcome, location was excellent and the breakfast was okay.

Very nice staff, very nice location, nice hotel. Only problem was the noise (1st floor room) coming from the street, especially when Rangers won against Fiorentina (a pub next door).

Great location once we found it! We would definitely return as the rooms were large and a great price. The square was under construction and we were given a room with a view of the square like it was special...not. Noise started early, but that was okay as we were up and out. Staff was nice enough and the lobby is very lovely. Easy access out of the city - just hard to get to coming in by car, but by train it would be perfect!

Great place and location only 1 block from train station. Very clean and helpful staff. Very good breakfast.

Convenient location near the Train station. The room was very nice, but not very soundproof. However we stayed during the winter so the noise was not excessive.

Great Hotel - perfect location - the only issue was the noise from the streets, cars, people talking. I had to put my ear-plugs in so I could fall asleep. If you stay there, request a top floor...we were on the 2nd. Other than that, everything else was just want we expected.

The location is good, very closed to the train stattion. The room size is relatively quite big and overall I'm satisfied with the service. However, as my room is very closed to the lift, it's a little bit noisy.

The hotel was clean, with nice rooms and the location much nicer than I expected. The view on the piazza was lovely. The desk help, however, was indifferent and almost couldn't be bothered. A bit of PR goes a long way, ragazzi!

The choices offered of main courses at breakfast were too limited - ham and sliced sausage.

The room was fine, but the street noise outside our window was the loudest of any place we stayed. It's nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep due to the noise level, which continues throughout the night and seems even louder from 1 to 2 a.m.

We enjoyed the hotel very much, except for the noise level. The airconditioning had already been turned off for the season, so open windows allowed lots of noise. It was too hot in the hotel for some reason. The staff were very accomodating and friendly.
