Hotel Rita Major - Florence

This would be a good value hotel... IF you stay in an airconditioned room, at the rear of the property, facing the little courtyard. Our room was noisy and unbearably HOT- could not sleep(Stayed mid september) rooms have no TV or bar fridge. Ensuite was new and very clean. Staff were delightful, but could not help with room shift as locals had booked all other rooms with a/c.

Wonderful hotel and staff is very friendly and helpful. It is not in main touristic area (and therefore it is nice and quet) and it is easy 7 min walk to center with all the attractions. There is outdoor market just a block away and grocery store near. The street that the hotel is on is not super attractive but inside hotel is a little paradise with garden and sitting areas. Our room had a veranda and a view of a garden. We felt like we stayed with the family.

The stuff there are very friendly and like to tell you where are worth visiting.The room is clean and spacious. And there are direct buses from the railway station here

It's a very nice hotel. free usage of internet & breakfast is good. it's a walk up hotel, no lift.

The hotel was clean enough and the staff were really kind,just that the direction intruction is not update wich make you waste a lot of time to find the hotel. It has really well ubication, only few minutes from the Cathedral.

We met very friendly and kindhearted staff. Excellent location (near 15 minutes to the center of the city). There is a very good restaurant next to the hotel. Rooms are just rebuild. Everything is new, fresh and clean. There is a paid parking near hotel. I think it can be only one problem for people with limited abilities: there is no lift. But for us it wasn't a problem. We were very impressed by this hotel and recommend everybody to choose it, becuase you'll find very good balance between price and quality!

Spacious room with possibility of having 4 people per room (1 double bed and 2 single bed). However, it is very noisy with the road even during the night. One KM from main city center. You cannot leave the car in the street as it is reserved for resident of the city. However, you can park it at 300 meters for either 1,5 euros per hour (from 8 to 20pm) or in a parking at 500 meters for 15 euros per day with hotel discount(20 euros normal price). We had 3 rooms but only 2 with TV. Fair quality/price. Acceptable for one night.

We is at family on 5 persons who stayed in a large 5 persons bedroom,, it was cheap and at perfect stay for us. but the hotel was old, the breakfast was a not good, but to a few night I will recommend you to used the hotel. Very cheap and perfect situated in Florens. Close to centrum

Very nice rooms and breakfast!

First timein Florence, I liked the hotel location, close to all the attractions. A bit noisy at night being by the road. The staff was great and helpful. Breakfast site was gracious and food was good. Shower stall in the room was all right. Just one thing, we had to pay the three night charges in cash. The local banks were having a problem with credit cards. The hotel put up a sign that the payment be in cash. Food at the restaurant right next to the hotel was great. The price was very reasonable with 20% off for the hotel guests.

I was absolutely satisfied with staying in this hotel. Everything was perfect. It's located quite close to the most famous sightseeing. Staff is very friendly.

No meal at hotel quite expensive around bread for breakfast very poor

The hotel location is good, you can get to main Florence interesting sites in 10 minutes by walking. Rooms are very clean. TV is too small. One thing that I didn't like was that I had to pay an aditional fee for the air conditioned, something that I didn't expect.

This is a good hotel with a nice garden and free internet access. People from the hotel are very nice and competent. Light breakfast though and yellow water in the bathroom... Good 15 min walk from the center of Firenz. We would recommend it for young couples.

My room was so noisy, it was so hot in firenze and there´s not any air acondition, and have mosquitoes. They must to focus on in the service
