Hotel Residence Palazzo Ricasoli - Florence

We actually had an efficiency apartment with a lot of room. The hotel was within walking distance of the main attractions and the facilities we felt were a good value. There were quite a few bus trips while we were there but certainly would consider staying there again if in Florence.

We had very nice stay at Palazzo Ricasoli. Our standart room consisted of 2 spacious rooms even with some kind of kitchen corner. It is located at about 20 minutes on foot from city center and about 15 minutes from railway station. There is a nice taverna near the hotel (rather tasty and average prices), you will find the menu at the hotel room and they give 10 % discount for the guests of Palazzo Ricasoli.

I recommend this hotel, It's a quiet place and nearby at centre city (academy of Arts)and the room is big with kitchen and frigde. The Garden is very beatiful and comfortable.

War der erste Besuch und bin positiv überrascht, Florenz ist allgemein sehr teuer, deswegen finde ich das Hotel vom Preis her super. ACHTUNG: Parkplatz kostet extra 21 Euro was ich ein bisschen viel finde.. Ansonsten war toll und würde wieder dieses Hotel buchen!

We stayed in a double superior room, amazing! Loved it, over two floor, very cool, air conditioning, good location, so about a 10 mint walk to the centre of town so good not to have the noise. Also got a really cheap offer, so absolutely worth the money! One of the best hotels i've stayed in in Italy!

The location is good, the room also. The place for breakfast was to busy and with shortage of food. Almost impossible to have a cappuccino that in Italy should be the easiest thing to have. The price of the garage and the broadband connection to internet was too expensive. The cost of these two services should be included in the room charge at the time of booking. This for all the hotel in Italy where they have own parking space.

Nice place with easy access to buses and traveling routes. The only problem was the room temperature---FREEZING!! It affected everybody in the main building and the management group could not fix it---so I slept with the windows open because the 60 degree (F) weather was warmer than the room temp. Also, the decor is different than the pictures indicate---it is actually a very modern hotel with a contrived "older" facade in the inner courtyard. Overall great place for the $, however. Very courteous, kind staff.

Lovely building, great room - we stayed in one of the junior suite's with a great staircase up to the bedroom and bathroom. Staff were always helpful, but a couple of minor problems were not rectified. Firstly the shower didn't drain quick enough so we had to turn it off mid shower to let it drain before continuing. And the TV wasn't tuned in properly - a notice said contact reception if this happened, we did and it didn't get sorted. Nice place though...
