Hotel President Firenze - Florence

This is an excellent hotel and is incredible value for money, particularly since our room had a wonderful balcony overlooking Florence. Although the hotel is situated some distance from the city centre, it is not difficult to catch the bus into the city. The staff on reception were very efficient and helpful.

The staffs were friendly and very helpful. The location of the hotel is not too far away from city centre. Room is clean.

The well presented photos were not there in reality. The room and furniture are very old, nothing like the photos. However the panaramic view of Florence is warranted.

4 stars are so much. It's a ideal location for groups

Questo Hotel può al massimo avere due stelle, non certo le quattro che ha!Rapporto qualità prezzo assurdo,hotel vecchio e decadente come il suo arredamento,rumoroso e fatiscente... Da dimenticare....

Overall it was good. The only problem was that we requested 2 individual beds and the room was 1 double bed instead. We had to request individual bedding and make the bed ourselves the first night. Not a huge problem in the big scheme of things, and the only point that prevents me from rating the service as excellent. Clean, quiet... Very good experience overall.

4 stars for this hotel seems too much, the forniture is old and should be better change them. The breakfast is not so abundant in terms of choice and I don't like drink in plastic glass. However the personnel is kindly, the room is quiet, the surrounding are pretty and you can admire the panorama of Florence from the windows of your room.

4th floor is great - wunderful view to the duomo

Not quite up to standard. It is far from town, but the walk was good if you're in shape. no a/c in rooms and misqitoes got us with window open.Hallways echoed any noise from people walking by. Staff were nice.Hotel was clean.

Nice location, excellent building but needs some renovation and quality service.

Price on the webd site was indicated as 80,-€. Calling by phone it was announced as 70,-€ by the receptionist. But in the end we had to pay 80,- because it was indicated at the booking sheet of venere.com. This is actually a disadvantage when using you booking site.

The hotel needs improvement. It only relies on its good surroundings. It is not qualified to a Four-Star hotel.

This hotel was certainly too run-down to be called a four-star establishment. Urgent repairs are needed to cover even basic eyesores such as humidity on the walls. Obviously it once was great, but much work is needed to return to former glory. Breakfast was inadmissibly poor for a four-star hotel. Yet people working there were trying hard to do their best.

Not so hard to find with a good map. Breakfast is great.

El cuarto de baño es muy pequeño y no disponen de cuartos de baño con bañera en ninguna habitación. El hotel es muy bonito pero está descuidado. El almuerzo es poco variado y no disponen de nada caliente.

In realtà si tratta di un 3 stelle, l'odore di umido nelle aree comuni è molto forte; nei corridoi ai piani in diversi punti ci sono macchie di umido e l'intonaco è scrostato. Comunque pulito, colazione normale, comodo perché ha il parcheggio grande e permette di muoversi per firenze a piedi o con il bus, la fermata è in fondo alla stradina in cui si trova l'hotel. Per una o due notti va + che bene.

I would not consider this a four-star hotel in the States.

We wished there was a restaurant in hotel for all meals. The closest two restaurants were too warm and with mosquitoes and walking back uphill when you're tired is no fun. One receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Price/value and parking were good features.

Excellent price/quality, nice location and the convenience of a private parking if you travel by car or moto.
