Great hotel an easy walk from the tourist sites. Amazing view too. The one downside is the murals and artwork on the walls was kinda not to our taste, but the veiw made up for this. Recommend room 16, has a private outdoors terrace :-)

A lot of different staff working the desk and they were unaware that we were staying there each time (you have to leave the key at the front desk when you exit the building). We had a more expensive room with a view and the view really was spectacular but the bed was 2 twins pushed together. For the price we paid the value was really not that great.

Panorama is no more than a three start hotel, most likely a two star. This was by far the least value for money we got for our travels in Germany, Austria and Italy. I recommend that you remove Panorama from your list of hotels you recommend to tourists.

The hotel is in a very good position, easy to reach also by car, very practical for the historical center visit. Da Tito in via Sangallo we ate very well typical food.

I have been one night in the Hotel Panorama in Florence. the hotel is well located but it is too expensive for the service they offer. The rooms are clean but too small, and the breaksfast is really really poor, just a horrible cup of coffee and a dry "Cornetto". on top of that you are supposed to clean up the table after breakfast, which is not what I expected for 94€ !!! The parking they offer in the hotel cost 26€/ night !!! and they have made us wait for 1 hour to get our car back... So quite disapointing for such a high price. I would not recommend it.

Hotel's location is excellent.. You don't have to take public transportation. You just walk wherever you want in the city. Especially the room with the view is fantastic. The room has a balcony with Duomo view. All you have to do is take your wine and enjoy the balcony. The staff is very helpful. But the toilet is very small.. It's very hard to take a shower.

A friendly hotel recommended for traveller to stay in Florence! The staff will give you additional travel guidance after completed the check in procedure and I am very appreciated with that. The Breakfast is very nice. The room is clean and tidy. It is quite far away from SMN Station and I suggest to take bus No. 1 from the Station to the Hotel.(depart at St. Marco Plaza) Value for Money.

One of the most comfortable hotel experiences. the staff was most welcoming and though the place is slightly distant from the SMN station, the experience more than makes up for the distance. I would defintely stay here again.

We stayed in an economy double room. The room is clean. Staff is friendly and professional. Location is a little far, but acceptable. Mosquito might be a concern at hot seasons since there's a garden and a pool beside the building. Overall we enjoy the stay at the hotel. We can't ask for more at such a competitive price.

Good price for money, we had a room a little noisy (N°7) right next to the front desk and on the street, they have rooms on a court which are less noisy. The room are clean, it is not very modern but it is OK for the price. The breakfast is good and you ake it in a rooom with a nice view on Florence. The very good point is the poeple are very nice and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Panorama and to be honest we can't complain for nothing. The quality of service is very good and the personal is helpfull (thank you guys for everything!). Also the breakfast is very good. The rooms are offering all the confort that you need in a trip but this it's a matter of taste. We liked it instead of its micro size (that was a question of luck)! It's wonderful to wake up looking at Brunelleschi's duomo. The hotel's location is nice - close to Santa Maria Novella train station (15 mins walk) or other objectives (Accademia - 3mins - just around the corner, Piazza del Duomo - 5mins).

Look at the images I've provided! You can't beat that view from the 4th floor...not even the glass-walled breakfast room had as good a view as we did, but it was very nice! The room was spacious and comfortable. As is the case in almost every budget hotel we stayed in, we had to manage the stairs with our heavy luggage, but it's our fault for packing so many clothes. But hey, it was my first trip. I know better now. The desk clerks were superbly helpful in securing reservations for us at the Accademia and Uffizi museums, which are both in easy walking distance from the hotel; as is the duomo and all the main streets of interests. I would definitely stay here again.

I liked this hotel and my family as well (we were six in two triple rooms). The entrance of the hotel is not very nice and sort of gives you a bad feeling. The elevator is very small but good enough. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. We had reservations for one double room and one quadruple, but nicely agreed to change it for two triples available at the time. Rooms were clean and had enough space, bathrooms clean and spacious although the courtain of the shower too short so did it did not seem to be very useful since the whole bathroom got wet. We got by train and walked to the hotel, it is about six blocks. The hotel is about four blocks from the Duomo and we even walked to the river to see the famous bridges, but there is also at one block from the hotel sveral bus stops (ar st Marcos Square) and can take yout anywhere in Florence. Right by the St Marcos square there are various very nice and affordaable restaurants to eat great italian food. We had a very good experience at this hotel. Basic for tourist to go to sleep well and confortable. The breakfast at the hotel was included in the price and was nice, included cheese, ham, bread, coffee, yogurt, confitures and so on. More thanh enough!!

Overall an value for money hotel, although it is not a particularly attractive property - looks / feels like a converted hospital. Major issue is noise - we stayed three nights and the second night there was a large group of American students staying who made a lot of noise in the corridors and in the rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful

In gereral it is really good hotel: good location - near the center, just 10 minutes walk to Duomo; good room - not so big, but cosy, there is all necessary furniture and the conditioner - the most important thing during hot august nights. Really spectacular view out of the window: the dome of Duomo. But the marks regarding personnel are not so good because there was an accident during our leaving. We leaved early in the morning, and, though we've warned about it beforehand, we couldn't find anybody in the reception, and were forced to seek personnel around the hotel. In the rest it was ok.

The Panorama hotel in Florence has a great location and gorgeous views of town from the top floors. Walkable to Duomo w/o kids, but must take city buses (1 block walk) with little kids. Further from main train station than it appeared on map. Very helpful staff, substantial breakfast, local grocer nearby for saving on restaurants. Modest, but very nice place!

The hotel was a little less than I expected. Most of the rooms in this price range were in much better shape. The room was not very clean, but it was sufficient in size. However, the breakfast was quite nice and the view from the breakfast room was wonderful.
