General map
At the centre of the so-called trade show and convention district of Florence, the hotel is located opposite Palazzo degli Affari, a short walk from Palazzo dei Congressi and the Fortezza da Basso, home to the most prestigious trade shows of the city.

Highly recommend this hotel. Very clean and quiet, new, our room on the second floor had a small balcony overlooking a garden. Very nice! It is more than you expect from a 3-star hotel, definitely.

Central location in city. Room quiet and overlooked a rear garden facilities good. Secure off street parking with a very tight entrance in a one way street, not for the feint hearted. Good breakfast selection

Our room was at the rear so we had no problems from street/traffic noise. It was a pleasant room and had a large balcony with a view of the Duomo's dome. However,we found the air-con unit slightly noisy at night. Another unit, mounted in an inner (inaccessable) courtyard, was outside the bathroom window and was incredibly noisy when the bathroom window was open. It did, however, drown out the room air-con noise. The hotel was very convenient for walking to all the main points of interest and its proximity to the rail station a great help in arriving and departing. The staff could have been more welcoming and friendly but we have no fault to find with them. Only one puzzling thing - why was each guest only given one tea spoon for breakfast, for use in eating a cereal, perhaps enjoying some peaches, and for stirring one's coffee.

Very close to the train station which was good. The room I had was nothing like the hotel photographs, it was old, tired and claustrauphobically small. There wasn't even sufficient space to open the door properly or to have space for an open suitcase.

excellent access to rail station and bus links breakfast very average and basic not even hams and cheeses available as is usual in continental breakfast, did not bother getting up for it on second morning, lots more choice across the road at rail station restaurants.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is well located close to the train station in a side street. Was very quiet at night. Good breakfast. Staff pleasant but could be friendlier. Hotel was very clean. Would use this hotel again.

Nice and quiet rooms. Staff very nice and helpful. Hotel located close to the station therefore handy. Short walking distance to main monuments in Florence.

Breakfast is a bit sparse. Hotel is in easy walking distance to the train station and staff are happy to keep bags after checkout.

Chambres et bains agréablement rénovés. Trés bien situé, calme, parking privé gratuit.Excellent rapport qualité/prix malgré des petits déjeuners médiocres. A recommander vivement.

Location was convenient to walking to all the sites. The room was a dissapointment. By American standards it was not a 3 star hotel. The shower was not separate, everything got wet. The double bed was 2 twins pushed together. Staff were very nice. Food was ok.

This was a great deal for the price! The most impressive part of the package was the staff at the front desk. They were warm and welcoming, spoke excellent English, and were so helpful with any request I had. They were very knowledgeable and could offer suggestions about everything. They made the stay that much better.

The access to Dormo is a little far. But it is the best place for the movement by the train.

The hotel is very centrally located. Three (3) minutes walk from the station and 5 minutes walk from San Lorenzo and Santa Maria Novella and 20-30 minutes from the Ponte Vecchio depending on how much window shopping you do! Hotel was very clean and the room was comfortable and warm. We had a room at the back of the hotel so we had a balcony from which we could see the domes of the Duomo and San Lorenzo. Despite being so central it was very quiet. Lots of good reataurants just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Easy walking distance from train and bus station was the determining factor in our choice of Palazzo Vecchio. Rooms on street side are not as noisy as we expected; room on inside courtyard was very quiet with a spectacular view of the Duomo. The staff was very good - ask them to make restaurant reservations for you at Il Due G restaurant! They also were quite helpful in getting us to the airport for an early morning flight - wake-up calls, called a taxi for us, etc. This was the second time we stayed here, and we would stay here again, next time we come to Florence.
