The hotel is a small, but extremely welcoming, with great staff, good rooms, and a decent breakfast, very close to the Academia Bridge, and an easy walk in that direction to the Grand Canal, with waterside restaurants, and in the other direction over the aforementioned bridge to St.Mark's Square - definitely reccomended

The hotel is very clean, safe and good location. The receptionist is very warm helpful. You can get a lot of information from them , don' t be afraid of bothering them, because they are always prepared for you. Please keep in mind that they will get off after 8:00 pm, so please make sure you can check in before that time. Except there is a misunderstanding when I check -in, everything is good .Definitely I will stay there if I go to Florence again. Thanks to Jessica and her colleagues.

has been 3 nights in Florence. Very good and good in hotel: location, price versus location, just looking for reparations (the safe/ a lamp/ small things in bathroom), information. Not good: the man had forgotten 2 times the breakfast en also was the breakfast poor. on your ask: would you return: (?), first looking what you also can of yes or no for that price

Good price for a moderate hotel. Was very clean, though the room was very small with a one person bathroom (There are two communal bathrooms which are much nicer than the ensuite we had). Still, for the price, it was fine. Got a great dinner recommendation from the morning desk guy, the two girls were very friendly, but the late night guy was a little surly. Plan ahead for breakfast- they couldn't accommodate a day-of request, so we had to go out. WIFI in the lobby, but I managed to log on in the room as well. Nice location- a little out of the downtown, but plenty close. The desk closes from 12-4 daily, so get the door codes if arriving in that gap. Bed was so-so, but we didn't spend much time in the room itself.

It was our first time in this hotel. The private bathrooms are very small but OK. Near to the hotel are cafes and trattorias not only for tourists, so you can get your capuccino or past for normal price.

Really lovely hotel, and good value compared to other hotels I looked at in Florence. The guy on reception who welcomed us when we arrived was great - he gave us an overview of the city, recommended places to visit and to eat, and offered to help with reserving tickets for museums. He made us feel very welcome, and him and the other staff continued to be very helpful throughout our stay. My only negative feedback is that the shower was not very powerful - we had one in our room and it sometimes wasn't much more than a trickle! It was always hot though, and it wouldn't stop me from staying there again.

The welcoming is really charming, the staff was really nice. We stayed for 7 days and 8 nights, have been shown some really good things to do. The room is quite small (I'd said about 10 square meters per two) but was spacious enough to get what we wanted (we didn't want to be in our room for our trip so enough is the word). We did really enjoy our journey, and climatisation offered us good rest while it was burning outside (good to have cool nights) I'd recommand it to most of the people who wants to enjoy Florence !

I would highly recomend this hotel! We were late arriving (past the hour of checking-in) and simply e-mailed ahead and was warmly welcomed. The room though small was nice and very clean with a good bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always greeting you with a smile and a helping hand when needed! The location is great for accessing all tourist locations, as well as taxis services. Right next door there is a small shop as well as cafes and resturants.

It was a pleasant 1-night stay at Loggia Fiorentina. The staff at the Hotel were very friendly. They provided us with a map to the various attractions in Florence and were glad to answer our queries when we asked where can we do our shopping in Florence. The shared bathroom was very clean and had facilities like toiletries and towels. They also provided free and speedy wireless connection. We were also allowed to leave our bags at the hotel upon checkout the next morning as our train to Pisa was in the evening.

We arrived too early for check-in but were able to leave our bags in the hotel and start our exploration of the city. Staff friendly and pointed out some places to eat. Only down side: our room window was above a restaurant kitchen which was very noisy until about midnight (we go to bed by 10pm)Common area nice with computer available for guest use. We didn't take the breakfast, but it looked fine.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the Loggia was. The rooms were immaculate, with AC and a fan (essential in the hot Florentine summer), the staff was friendly, and it's quite easy to get to. Also, the internet was good, which is unusual in Italian hotels. The area around is fine, just a little expensive, but there's cafes, bars, restaurants et. all over the San Marco area. Overall, this place is a great bargain.

We had a room with the arrangement of twin beds, sink, bidet, and a shared bathroom next door. The sharing worked out fine as we never ran into any other guests and so it was more or less like a private bath that happened to be next door. Beds, linens, floors and surfaces were very clean. Room was tiny, as was bathroom (the bathroom has a drain the dead center of the floor because the entire bathroom becomes the shower when you turn the shower on!) but we weren't spending a lot of time in the room anyway, so it didn't bother us. We had some heating issues as well, which the staff quickly solved with a space heater. The building is older so I wasn't surprised or phased much by its quirks. The only thing in the "con" category would really be the sound traveling through the walls - we could hear every cough, sniff, giggle and sneeze of our neighbors and I assume they could hear ours. Location was actually really great - just a couple of blocks from: the Accademia, the huge outdoor knock-off leather market, a grocery store, a "99 cent or less" store, and directly next door to the building is a great little cafe with yummy strong espresso. I thought we'd be a bit far from the sights but actually not at all, and the street the hotel is located on leads directly to the heart of everything, so it makes it easy to navigate and hard to get lost. Finally, the staff was very helpful, spoke English, called a cab to get to us at 5am for our early morning flight and then the next guy on duty double checked the cab reservation - I was very happy with our choice and would definitely stay there again.

The room is nice but the bathroom is so tiny that when you lean forward to wash your face your bottom crashes against the opposite wall! (for italians: no bidè!) No hot water on arrival, I had to wait more than one hour before having a shower, considering the fact that I came from jogging and I was in a sweat and muddy...The morning after no hot water againg! The receptionist was really sorry but I think we should have a discount, 75 euro with no breakfast is definitely to much even for Florence.

The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. Most spoke very good English. The room was clean, quiet, and nicely-decorated. It was rather small so we weren't able to spend much time in the room, other than sleep time. Our room was quite cold at night and the radiator was only on one night out of the five we stayed at the property. We couldn't control the heat so we asked the night shift staff to fix the problem 3 out of the 5 nights. Each time, the staff person assured us that they would turn the heat on. Only once did they actually turn it on. And radiators take awhile to heat up, which means that the room never quite warmed up to a reasonable room temperature. Given how helpful the staff were with restaurant and sight-seeing recommendations, it was strange that they didn't really seem to think that an uncomfortably-cold room was a serious problem. The hotel offers breakfast for 5 euros/person. Skip it and go down to the bar next door where you can get two cappuccini and 2 hearty pastries for 4 euros.
