Hotel Leopolda - Florence

Typically italian city hotel; reception on the first floor, rooms on the second. Very nice people, but not good in English. Clean room, fan on the ceiling, windows to the street (if you want to sleep with open window take oropax).

Chambre correcte pour le rapport qualité/Prix. Chambre trés bruyante coté rue. Aprés plusieurs demande, pas de possibilité de changer, alors qu'il y a eu des check out le lendemain.Personnel pas trés conciliant. Son de la Télévision ,dans la partie commune, de jour comme de nuit. Pas d'eau chaude ou trés peu et pas de dbit a la douche durant les heures "pleines" du matin et du soir. Hotel acceptable pour un cour séjour professionnel.

Hotel was hard to locate even with the map provided. transport from station was confusing as bus circuit was in wrong directon. Very limited eating areas close to hotel. City centre 20 minutes walk or taxi about 10 euros and 10 minutes. Breakfast for a continental was given with very limited choices. Would not recommend to anyone who cannot walk long distances to city centre as public transport can become costly.

People at the reception do not speak English nor French and they are not particularly welcoming... The breakfast is not worth paying attention.

The location is not convenient to the main attractions of Florence, and the area did not appear to be safe. I would not walk around there at night.

Personale gentilissimo ed ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

We were staying in Leopolda for few days in July. The service was nice and the room was spacy moreover we were pleased with the condition of the bathroom. We would recommend this hotel for person who is looking for a cheap hotel whit good price/quality relationship near the city centre.

A simple place - basic breakfast as at most italian places (but the best ever coffee). The location was within walking distance of the centre of florence (about a 20 min walk). Great value if on a tight budget and don't want frills - definitely would stay here again. They recommended a great restaurant close by that was very good.

Much further than the station than said in the map. it was quaint and hardly anyone available for help. the rooms were really big, airy and comfortable. we stayed for 3 days and it was value for money. also a few good restaurants down the road.

Nuestro único problema fué encontrarnos en plena ola de calor, que el aire acondicionado indicado en la página, era un ventilador. Por lo demás, la ubicación es muy buena, el trato y desayuno tambien, y las habitaciones muy limpias y amplias. Al tener una obra al lado, los laborables a las 7:30 resultaban bastante ruidosos.

This was a lovely hotel and would stay there again, but ask for a room at the back as the noise from the traffic first thing in the morning is horrendous.

Ho trovato l'hotel veramente pulito e ideale per chi come me ha deciso di fermarsi a Firenze per un breve week end. Ottima l'ospitalità e ottima la ubicazione dell'hotel non tanto distante dal centro storico. Unico problema è il posto auto che non è facile da trovare! In conclusione consiglio vivamente questo hotel perchè ha un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!

All fine but this hotel is quite a step outside the city and very noisy on the front side. The proprietors are very pleasant but have little or no English. However, we would certainly stay there again for value for money.

Estuvimos una sólo noche porque nos lo recomendó una amiga,creo que nos dieron su última habitación en el último piso,muy grande un poco fría y muy desangelada. La cama confortable,los dueños son geniales,el desayuno pobre y esta a 15 min. andando del centro. Para una noche en Navidades me pareció caro.
