We just returned from a week touring Tuscany, & I have to say this, by far, was the WORST B&B experience we had. First, directions were vague, then the attendant on duty when we first arrived was extremely rude. I gave her the benefit of doubt until the next morning, she was there again & her attitude was even worse. The room was VERY small and noisy. The breakfast was a JOKE. The coffee was from an automated machine & NONE of the guests were able to figure it out. Not only was this B&B awful, it was the most expensive we stayed in all week. I would NEVER recommend it to anyone.

Hotel Firenze was a good value for the price. It was about a fifteen-minute walk from the train station and was a short walk from the Duomo and the Uffizi. The room was nice and a decent breakfast was included (pastries, breads, and cereals). The staff spoke good English and was helpful.

- The hotel is located in a very central place close to all the major attractions of this wonderful city. - The hotel should be quiet given its location in a closed court located in a pedestrian area. However one of our 3 nights was disturbed by a group of the hotel itself making lots of noise when coming back at 2AM.

Nice place to stay. I only had 1 night here. The room was clean and comfortable, but a bit noisy from hall noise (young children) the next morning.

Overall the stay was pleasant. The room was spacious and clean!! The location was excellent!! Close to shopping, the Duomo and next to an amazing gelato place. Can walk all over Florence from the hotel. Besides location, the room wo got was noisy every morning due to construction and the bell from the Duomo that goes off every hour. Staff was friendly and helpful (the man with the long stragly hair, was very unpleasant and doesn't seem happy to help). Breakfast was not the greatest. Cereal, dinner roll and yogurt is what they serve daily. In the end, I would stay here again if I'm on a budget.

Receptionists should learn how to smile... and the breakfast is very poor, I would even say disgusting except coffee: the rest is of very poor quality. However, the location is perfect and that could explain why the rest is not at the top!!!

Fabulous location, just steps from the Piazza Della Republica and the Duomo. You could here the bells ringing in the morning, what a lovely sound. Our room was very quiet, we were located on the courtyard side of hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The yogurt at breakfast was amazing, we were sure it was homemade. Would definitely stay again.

We spent 3 days in Florence at Hotel Albergo Firenze and would definitely stay there again. The location was perfect - midway between the Duomo and Piazza della Signorella, on a charming (albeit busy and somewhat noisy) street. The room was extremely clean, reasonably sized and comfortable, the bathrom small but clean and workable. However, the room was spare and without character (for Americans, think "Motel 6" decor). Breakfast was acceptable although not very extensive. Desk staff was pleasant and extremely helpful - one gave us great recommendations for small wonderful restaurants outside the immediate area. Overall, it was perfect for us and if you want reasonably priced, well located, clean and comfortable accomodations I highly recommend it - but if you are looking for luxury, or for Florentine or Tuscan character, this is not the place!
