Hotel Embassy - Florence

The Hotel Embassy exceeded all the expectations we had of hotels in Italy. The hotel was modern, clean and rooms were spacious and well kept.Excellent bathroom and shower. Breakfast was very good and had a variety of things. The reception staff were wonderful. The location of the hotel was excellent.We stayed the night in Florence and had to catch a train to Pisa the following day, and the proximity to the staion allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel for the day and collect them again before boarding our train. The proximity to the historic centre is also good,just a short walk to the Duomo and main shopping areas.

The room # 201 is promote for 4 persons, but it is for 2 + 1 persons, infact there isn’t much elbowroom in this room. There is a 15 cm space between a single bed and double bed and there isn't space between a single bed and the windows. Since as the room is little for 4 persons the room feels hot. In the private bath the bidet is very little even for a small person.

The Hotel Embassy was very nice. It was located across the street from the train station but a 15-20 min walk from the main tourist area. Breakfast was good selection. Hotel personnel was friendly and very helpful. Would stay again.

Very pleasant quiet hotel near to main train station. Luxurious bathroom. Quite small unusual shape room but it was fine and very comfortable.

There is no transportation that can get you to the hotel door not even by water, you'll have to drag your luggage on the street by yourself with no help available, room was noisy, breakfast was good but you had to wait for allot of items very often, staff were nice, but this is not a four star hotel.

The hotel location and comfort are really wonderful. Hotel is located in a 2 min walking distance from train station and 5 min walking distance from all main attractions.

We were in the new part of the hotel which was really clean and beautiful. It was really quiet, from the window we could see the rails from the trainstation but we haven't heard anything at all. The breakfast is taken in a nice place, it's like a cave with arcades. The staff is really nice.

The Embassy was a wonderful hotel for the price. The room was huge, the bathroom: beautiful! The only downside: the bed. It was like sleeping on a board and the pillows were like thin towels. If you don't mind a hard bed, then this hotel is for you. Hard to find with all of the one way streets in Firenze but once there, it is within walking distance to everything!

Very convenient to the station, queit & walk to city sites, which is what we wanted. Booked a Double Standard Room with Breakfast. Compact room but bed was large with nice furnishings and the bathroom was modern & spacious with full bath. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The staff were friendly & helpful & spoke English. It was no problem to leave our bags earlier than check-in, so we could go sight seeing. Problem for some could be the few steps up to get into the hotel with all your luggage & the steps inside our room. We managed OK.

Excellent location as it's nearby train station. Safe neighborhood with lots of great little restaurants around the area. Ver friendly, helpful and competent staff.

Beds were very uncomfortable. AC did not work properly. Wifi is 8 euro for 3 days.

Close to train station, which was key for me and the group. Facilities were clean. I stayed in the renovated 2nd building that is behind the main hotel. Very modern, pleasant surprise. Room was smaller than I expected, but comfortable. I suggest asking for a Dbl Rm with balcony in the 2nd building- I'm sure the street noise is less bothersome there.

Hotel Embassy is very close to the main train station (Santa Maria Novella) and 15 minutes walking distance from the main tourist attractions so the location is perfect. Our room was big and clean. My only bad comment is that the receptionists are not so friendly, although helpful when you need them. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Very noisy hotel. Wifi is not included in the price. We could here talking and walking and moving furnitures upstairs.

Excellent position, really close to S.M. Novella train station (5 min) and to the city center (15 min). Room was ok and quite big, but a little bit too noisy. Main problem is the bathroom: is small and the shower is open (not even a plastic curtain to shield the water) so is impossible to wash yourself without completely flood the bathroom. Breakfast was not impressive for a 4 star hotel. Also both morning we stayed, when we arrived in breakfast room there was not even a clean table where to sit and we had to wait for the waitress.

All was ok. we recomend this hotel for business and pleasure. thank you for a nice stay to the staff

Rooms were to our liking and we recommend this hotel to anyone going to Florence and prefer to be near the train station.

Very convenient, walking distance from train station. Lots of places to eat in the area. Walked to all the sites from here, but could catch bus if needed. Very nice room & bathroom. Nice breakfast. Modern decor.

Exellent beach of Principe di Piemonte with discount of the hotel Embassy. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Recommend.

Great Hotel, Great Breakfast. Not far from main attractions

We stayed for 14 days in Florence.We stayed the first time there.We were very content with the elegant Hotel.

Very nice experience. Good hotel, good price good breakfast. The rooms are clean and bathroon was really clean. Elevator is small but it seems to be normal in the cities we visit in Europe.

Especiallyt appreciated was the 'breakfast kit' received at the early morning departure, before the breakfast room was open. I left the hotel at 5.30 AM. Also appreciated was assistance with receiving e-mail to the hotel and answering by fax. It was my first visit to Florence and my first stay at Hotel Embassy.

Overall a very conveniant stay in Florence. I can recommend this hotel with a very good price/quality ratio.

I found the hotel easily following the website directions, and it is a just a few minutes walk from the railway station, tourist information office, bus station, and tour bus pickup points. My room was comfortable, spacious, and spotless. The reception employees were friendly and helpful, and recommended a couple of excellent restaurants nearby. Breakfast buffet is excellent, although I had to wait for a table to be cleared before I could be seated. My last night at the hotel was sleepless due to the guest in the room above mine, who walked around on the parquet floor wearing hard heels, even though the hotel provides complimentary slippers. If the guilty party is reading this, please don't do it again.

Hotel Embassy was a short walk from the train station, which was perfect for a family with luggage! The staff was extremely helpful and our stay was very comforatble. We were within 10-15 minute walk to the Duomo and all the main attractionns, and were able to come back to our quiet hotel at night. We could not have askd for a better location. The staff at breakfast was always so accomodationg, esp. Signora Elina. The staff at the front desk helped us make reservations for the uffizi and accademia right away, so we would be spared the line! I would return again!

The Embassy Hotel is probably the best value in Florence. The staff is very helpful and knowledgable and the entire operation is run very professionally. It is an excellent value.

I left my luggages at the reception desk after check out, but those big luggages were still there after 20 minutes without care, should be improved.

It was my second time at Embassy hotel and the hotel provided me and my family a great stay again. Helpful and warm staff, cleanliness, good location and nice breakfast make this a choice with almost no chance for error. So, if you want to have a comfortable and pleasant stay in Florence, this hotel is for sure a strong candidate!

If the hotel had a good bar it would be great!The beds where a bit hard, but what a fantastic room and bathroom.

Unfortunately the ongoing roadworks around the hotel affected our overall experience. Breakfast was very disappointing.

Major road work outside hotel;temporary. A/C was somewhat noisy, but worked very well. MAp was adequate for the # of surrounding roads; unfortunately, hotel's sign blended in with the sky and was visible only very close-up. Service was excellent; My laptop crashed, and we were given 2 internet cards for lobby computer. Breakfast was diverse and excellent; no real lunch needed.

Très bon hotel. Proche du centre ville, propre, très calme et accueillant. Un lit bébé avait été mis à disposition à notre demande avec draps, oreiller et couverture. Nous y retournerons volontiers.

The hotel provides great service quality for its customers. We have found minor problems, such as a frequent variation of water's temperature during the shower, but none of them affects the overall quality of the place. People were kind from during all our journey. They also didn't want to be just "by the book". For instance, when we arrived ahead of scheduled (about 9 am), they provided us a breakfast as a courtesy and immediatly made available a room for us. Great place, despite not being a cheap one.

Room was very nice and clean. Construction on street and next door did not interfere with our stay and noise level was minimum. Great central location near everything.

In the room there was some trouble. The room had 2 windown at the roof level, they should open electrically, but they were not working. So that there was not possible change air other than opening windows in bathroom. and in bathroom the windows was not located fine because it was at floor level. But the room was very fine and the bathroom very good.

Great, Im staying there on my next trip to Firenze. Nice people and nice hotel.

El hotel Embassy ha sido uno de los mejores hoteles en los que estuve en Europa. Las habitaciones fueron lo suficientemente amplias para mi esposa y para mi. Los baños son impecables al igual que la limpieza de la habitación. El personal fue muy profesional y amigable mientras estuvimos en el hotel. El desayuno todos los días estuvo excelente. Este es un hotel que recomiendo en su totalidad, ya que llenó todas nuestras expectativas.

The Hotel Embassy was beautiful, clean, and elegant. A great location in Florence to explore the city. Close to the trainway, shops and restaurants. The hotel room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Esta cerca del centro. La primera habitación estaba en la planta baja y se escuchaba todo. Solicite una nueva y nos la cambiaron sobre la marcha.

Hotel muy nuevo todo impecable. Al lado de la estación pero muy silencioso, puedes ir caminando a todos los sitios. Recomendable.

Hemos estado 3 noches en el Hotel Embassy de Florencia. El hotel es fantástico, recién renovado con mucho gusto, todo es nuevo y muy limpio. Está ubicado en una calle cerca de la estación de trenes y autobuses. En las indicaciones de como llegar al hotel desde la estación dice "bajar las escaleras girar a la derecha y luego a la izquierda". Seria mejor que pusiera "bajar las escaleras de la estación, girar a la derecha y luego la segunda calle a la izquierda". Con esto nos hicimos un poco de lio porque era de noche y las instrucciones no eran muy precisas. Este hotel es muy recomendable si llegas en autobús o tren, porqué está a muy poca distancia. Esta ubicado en una calle con poco tránsito (ahora está en obras) y puedes ir paseando a todos los puntos de interés. Las ventanas son muy aislantes y no se oye ningún ruido. Zona muy tranquila. Muebles de madera, baños de mármol, todo impecable. El desayuno es tipo bufet, con bastante variedad. Hay fruta, zumos, leche caliente, fría, café, panecillos, embutidos, queso, pasteles, cereales etc.. Todo muy rico y abundante. Las personas del servicio muy atentas. En definitiva, os recomiento este hotel.

Las habitaciones son pequeñas. El lugar resulta un poco lejano a las actividades que te gusta hacer en la ciudad. Para quien solo viaja en tren y lo utilizqa de paso, está bien.

Overall I was very pleased with the services provided. The location of the hotel is excellent very close to the main railway station. Also the street is wide nothing to remide the hotels found in the narrow streets of the historical centre of the city. The personnel is very kind, very helpful. The rooms very quiet.

Great location! A few minutes from the main rail station. Some construction around the hotel but nothing to prevent access. Internet $8/day + no breakfast. Rooms are very clean + pleasant size.
