Fabulous location!!! You can walk from the hotel to everywhere of importance in Florence. Super friendly staff. Enormous room by European standards, and a huge bathroom, including a bidet (although the faucet on it was wiggly). Small shower, but plentiful hot water. Decent continental breakfast. Hotel lobby is not on the ground floor, so be prepared to go up to the 3rd floor to check in. Quite a bit of street noise, but perhaps that is the price for the great location.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, but also extremely noisy as our room faces via Panzani. You could hear the traffic even with the windows closed. The room itself was adequate, but the attached bathroom needs had fixtures which were not properly secured, and a badly designed and built shower which floods the floor. Breakfast was nice though, and the staff was quite helpful.

This was the worst hotel I have never been into in the last 20 years (I have been in 20 countries). . The safe and phone line did not operate for the five days of my staying, and had not been repaired despite my repeated requests. The staff has basic attitude problem, especially the night shifter. In order tp plug electric instument, I had to unplug the TV or the basic mini bar. I could hear every word the receptionist is saying through my room door. Be prepared to flood your floor after every shower. The breakfast is very basic, and the location is highly central. I do not know where the 3 stars came from. Just don't go there.

Hotel was in great location. 5 min walk from train station and 5 - 10 min walk to all major attractions. The room was clean and pretty spacious for an older hotel in Europe. Breakfast was also good (coffee, rolls, yoghurt, cereal) - just be sure to arrive early. If you come towards the end of the 2 hour breakfast eating block, you might have to wait to sit as there are only 5 tables. Only thing that could be improved was noise. No carpet and walls are not so thick, so if you have loud neighbors (TV, extra-curricular activities, etc) you will hear them. But if you spend the whole day walking around Florence, you should be exhausted enough to go right to sleep.

I was especially pleased with the warm reception and always helpful front desk! I have gone back to stay here again and find myself treated like family. This is a gem.

We just needed a hotel for one night, so the hotel was good enough because clean and well located, but...what a poor breakfast!!!!!!!!!!!! I've never had a breakfast like that before, especially in Italy where you can get so much more than just a piece of non fresh bread and so called croissant. Luckily we had a special deal via Venere. We dicovered that the original price of the room was 200 Euros!!! They have an agreement with a parking place, the next street, so it's convienient.

L'hotel è gradevole, molto comodo come posizione vicino alla stazione ed in centro, gli spazi comuni sono un po' angusti ma nel compenso è un'ottima sistemazione con buon rapporto qualità prezzo considerando che siamo a Firenze

difficult to find even in the daytime so I'm glad we didn't arrive late .I don't know how we would have managed, but that is nobody's fault as the hotel happens to be located in the midst of the hitorical center which makes it a very convenient place to radiate from for the visits. A parking lot is situated within walking distance (a few hundred meters, price 24 or so euros per day ,the personel of which being particularly friendly and helpful...)

This hotel was fine. Staff was nice. Breakfast was very lame. Convenient to the train station, but the area in general was incredibly congested and crowded. Walking down the street was not always pleasant unless it was very early morning. We were in Europe for two weeks, 3 days at this hotel in Florence, and found Florence to be our least favorite place visited, except for the wonderful museums. If you are in Florence, go up to Fiesole...quiet & pretty. Also, Siena is worth a visit, as well.

This hotel was fabulous. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone visiting Florence. The room was large and clean. The breakfast was ample. The staff was very helpful, kind, and accommodating. Our stay at this hotel could not have been better.

Though clean, our room was quite spartan, although we didn't much care because we weren't in it except to sleep. It felt a bit institutional, and there was a kind of musty smell, but it wasn't bad. The staff was very friendly, and the location was very convenient (although a light sleeper would be disturbed by the street noise). Until we knew where it was, the hotel was very difficult to find - we walked right by it several times until we finally just had to walk slowly down the street with the address in hand until we found the discreetly marked entrance (the hotel is on the upper floors, and I think we were expecting a ground-floor lobby). It was hard to beat the location right down the street from the train station, though.

J'ai eu l'impression de payer surtout la situation (centre de Florence) plus que le service. Pour le même prix nous avons eu un 4*, dans le Piémont certes, mais un Palace tout de même...

Great location, just a few minutes walk from Duomo and a short stroll to most other things. A little noisy as it's on a busy road, and the walls are a bit thin - but we were so tired we hardly noticed and it wasn't a problem. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and the owner very charming.

L'ascenseur est extrèmement petit!À quelques minutes seulement de la gare et du dôme. Emplacement tout à fait génial. La salle à manger est très petite et le personnel peut quelque fois sembler marabou mais heureusement ce n'était pas une généralité.

It is near the railway station, which is very convenient if you have a tight schedule. The room is very big, but the TV is a bit old. Of course you don't need to watch the TV at night. There are a lot of activities in Firence. Walking in the city at night is very enjoyable. The area surrounding the hotel is safe if you come back late.

We had made reservations for a double room, but met our daughter in Florence and invited her to stay with us. When we got to the hotel and requested a triple room, they were very accommodating. We got a lovely room that was almost a suite. A double on one side with bathroom and a single on the other side with half bath. It served our purpose tremendously as my wife and I had privacy and so did our daughter. The staff was great. I would recommend traveling lighter (we had two large suitcases) than we did as the elevator is not on the ground floor and is small.

The Delle Tele is a quirky little hotel occupying the 3rd, 4th and possibly higher floors of a old office building. It is an easy 5 minute walk South of the stazione SMN, and another 5 minutes to the duomo. It also has the world's smallest elevator; two of us with large backpacks had to take separate trips up. I had a very decently sized, for Europe, single room with a nice double bed. The bathroom was great, except for the fact that the bathroom WAS the shower, meaning there was a showerhead on the wall and a drain in the floor so I kept my toiletries just outside the bathroom for fear of soaking them. My room may have been an exception, as another bathroom had a "regular" shower stall. The breakfast was a standard continental (read: all carb), usually passed up for a friendly local coffee bar a block South: the "Snack & Sweet" (tell Ina "Christoforo" says ciao!) One other food note: according to several locals I asked, the best pizza in town is across the street about a half block North called Dante's something or other. I gotta say it was pretty "damn" good. ;) My room did not face Via Panzani, a main street, so street noise was not a issue, but one phenomenon did make its presence known; any large passing truck shook the whole building. It felt like a giant doing jumping jacks in the next room. It did not disturb my sleep however, as I usually retired later than the trucks, and I am a heavy sleeper. All in all I had a very pleasant stay, and at 60 Euros a night I think it was a bargain.

We had a good sized en suite room that was well cleaned each day; the hotel was well placed for our purposes half way between the station and the Duomo; the receptionists were always friendly and helpful; they gave some good restaurant recommendations and booked the tables for us - without this we wouldn't have gotten in to one of the restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. The only slight downside was that it is on a street leading into the centre of the historic city and so had the inevitable traffic noise outside.

This is my first trip to Italy. The hotel is located in nice area downtown and easily to find. Breakfast is provided with nice service. We travel as a family. We got 1 Double and 1 Triple room. The triple room compose of 1 small double room and 1 small single room, with 2 private showers. I'd like to recommend this hotel to others.

Good location, near shopping, the Duomo. Very pleasant staff, great shower, we had a traffic room side so it was a little noiser. Very, very clean, also within walking distance from the train station.
