Great quality for the price, and the owner Marco was professional, informative and welcoming. The location is excellent. The walk from the train station took about 15 minutes and all of the main sites in Florence are all within a short walk. For example, the Duomo is about a 5-7 minute walk. The grocery store is a 7 minute walk and there is also a bank machine nearby. Visit the Pizzicheria Antinio Porrati for quality food at an affordable price. The owners are inviting and super friendly. Marco recommended this eatery to us.

A characterful building with welcoming, knowledgable staff, well-located and so close to the cathedral, with an excellent coffee shop around the corner (it'll come recommended when you head out in the morning!) Only cons: shared bathrooms can mean waiting to duck into the shower in between other guests, and you certainly feel the lack of air con in the summer!

very nice hotel, well located just besides Il Duomo and the main touristic attractions. The owner is very nice and smily. The only thing is that we had a room just beside the reception and we could hear the receptionist talking. If you 've got earplug or get a room further than the reception, I think you will be just fine.

We stayed in Dali just one night, but it was a really nice time - the host was very helpful and hospitable, our room was exactly as it was described on the website. Maybe hotel isn't located in city center but there is a easy way to it, about 30 minutes of nice walk. I can surely recommend this hotel!

I stayed at Hotel Dali for 4 nights,I came in the evening so I got a taxi from the Airport to the Hotel 22 euros, 7 euros if you want to hang around for the shuttle bus every 30 minutes, which puts you outside Santa Maria Novella Train Station and its around a 10-15 minute walk to Hotel Dali. Location was brilliant, I could see Duomo the Cathedral from my bedroom window. All other sites are literally a stones throw away and easy walking distance to. My room was spacious, clean and had all what I needed tea and coffee making facilities,(no milk though)Tv, fridge, sink, shared bathroom was nice and clean, shower nice and hot. It could get a little noisy at night as my room was on the street side but I did arrive on the weekend, it could also get a little noisy in the mornings as my room was in front of the reception area but its good to get up early!! especially if you want to go to the museums, Top Tip Book On Line or get Marco to reserve you tickets (I had a 3 hour wait at the Uffizi Gallery and I was there at 8am in the morning) Marco the host was fantastic, brilliant welcoming and a lovely soul as well as being very helpful. Thanks to Peter also for the restaurant advice in Fiesole Curry was lovely. I am looking forward to coming back again to Hotel Dali as I didn't get to see everything first time around and also its a great little Hotel :-)

The hotel is extremely welcoming. Everyone who works there is unfailingly friendly and full of advice and suggestions of how to enjoy Florence. The location, just a few blocks from Florence's Duomo, is ideal for tourism. The rooms and (shared) bathrooms are very clean. The bed I had was very comfortable, there was adequate closet and shelf space, and the wifi generally worked well. The main drawbacks are that one of the two bathrooms is very cramped (the other is quite spacious) and the street outside can be rather noisy (but the rooms have excellent windows that block most noise). I definitely enjoyed my stay there.

This Hotel is Super close to the Duomo, and a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. We were in room #12 which is right behind the reception desk. In the morning, when people were talking to the reception desk personnel, we could hear EVERY WORD as clearly as if they were in our room. Luckily, the reception desk is usually closed after 8 pm, so this type of noise was not an issue at night. We had a private bathroom, which was clean and well kept, but barely larger than an airplane bathroom with a shower, but it met our needs. Other than the small reception area, there are no real common areas. There is a microwave available to all guests. Marco, the hotelier, was super friendly and informative. We would stay here again!

It is a very clean and friendly hotel, helpful owner and staff. I would definitely go back - with earplugs! - (my room on the street side was noisy at night). That's the only complaint. My room was renovated and decorated tastefully, the shared bathroom was always clean. I had even a small fridge and also an electric kettle in the room, WIFI was ok.

Nice little hotel, perfectly located in the city centre of florence. 5-10 minutes walk to all the major sights, many good and not expensive restaurants around. And free parking directly behind the house!! With big cars you might have problems to drive through the gateway of the parking because it is very tight. All in all nice & simple little hotel, we would totally recommend it for a short-trip to florence!

Convenient location, very close to Duomo, train station is less than a half hour walk. Staff was very accommodating; we got into Florence at 2 in the morning and had a fine check in. Staff speak zero English(apparently Marco does, but he was not there when we were), so there is a bit of an language barrier issue if you don't speak at least a Romance language, but the staff do try their best. We wanted two beds but instead got one big one, which was inconvenient, but our rooms were quite spacious.

Great location! Just down the street from the Duomo and a local supermarket. Elevator is old but it works. Pretty easy to find from the train station. As with every place we stayed in Italy, the mattresses were firm (which we like)so if you like soft-bring a pad. Stayed one night, wish we could have stayed more. Florence at night is magic!

The bus driver who drove my friends and I,all had early flights the following morning, in from Luca could not find the hotel, so I got out and flagged a taxi driver who drove me to the Hotel. I was frustrated with this hassel but was heartened to walk into the little hotel lobby and be immediately greeted by the friendly English speaking receptionist who said, before I presented anything, "Oh, we have been expecting you!" I paid 70 Euro, the amount I expected plus a 1 Eruo tax that was enacted on July 1. She explained this miniscule suprise, and it was also explained in writing in the hotel room. The receptionist quickly checked me in, provided a map on which she outlined all the must sees of the city, and booked a 4:15 AM taxi for me without my as much as asking. This small hotel is the 2nd flr of a building, it is spartan very neat and clean. There are 2 large clean bathrooms shared by the 8 rooms. The room had a ceiling fan that kept me cool for the few hours I spent before leaving for the airport. At 4:15AM it was a scary and fast 15 minute ride to the airport which does not open until 5AM, so I could have slept longer! Perhaps later in the day, the ride to the airport might take 30 minutes-- Florence traffic is CRAZY. It was a 1 min walk to the Duomo, and about 5 min from the river. For someone needing a place to stay for a few nights in Florence and who is not in need of luxury accroutrement, this place is perfect. The neighborhood seemed very safe and quiet .There was a sink, coffee maker, and packaged croissants in my room. The building's doors are locked at 8pm,the doorbell turned off at midnight, but each guest is provided keys to get in after those times. There is a staff member who sleeps there during the night that can be awakened if needed. Dali is a few steps above some of the nice hostels I have stayed in during my younger years. If you want a clean room and to spend your money on entertainment, this is the place for you!

We spend three nights at the Hotel Dali. Small but confortable rooms, abd very very close to the center of the town (we could see the Duomo from the hotel doorway)The street is noisy, and the breakfast a little rustic but it's still an excellent relationship between price and quality. The keeper is really friendly.

The hotel was really near to everything. Go straight down, you're in the duomo in 5 minutes. Turn a bit to the left and you are in the market, to the right takes you to the direction of pontevecchio. The rooms were spacious enough and I like the fact that the room we got, facing the courtyard, was very quiet at night. Also, Marco, the owner it think, was probably the most enthusiastic and energetic man I met on my entire trip, and communicating with him, even just plain asking for directions was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there if I were in the area.

It was a nightmare! The hotel (?) is dirty, the staff (??) rude. Our room (a couple) was hot, and the only ceiling fan available wouldn't work. The lobby is closed during the night. We arrived late, there was no water in our fridge, so I had to go out to buy water. When I came back, I was "wellcome" by this almost naked staff, complaining etc. NEVER STAY AT THIS PLACE!

We stayed at the Hotel Dali last week when we were in Florence. Florence was the first city of several in Italy that we traveled to, and this hotel genuinely provided an excellent first impression. It was easy to access, GREAT location just down the street from the Duomo. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and much larger than we expected. Everyone on staff that we encountered was friendly and helpful, especially the owner Marco. We had an excellent stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Florence. The only downside was that we only had hot water for the first few minutes of the first shower - unfortunately for me, I am always the second one out of bed :) But it wasn't enough of a problem for us to keep us from coming back.

The very time that we got to the hotel, we got a warm welcoming from the hotel owner. He was very helpful during our stay there by recommending good places to eat and just by having a good chat. We had a great view of duomo from our hotel room. Hotel very close to most of the Florence sights ( 2 min from Duomo). Would highly recommend!

Very helpful and friendly staff. We got some excellent information about Florence without asking. The hotel is situated on a sideroad of the Duomo and you can actually see the Duomo leaning out of the hotel window. The shower and toilet is in the corridor and it worked out alright for just one night. The room was clean and had a fan but it was still very hot. Free parking in the backyard. No breakfast included. I would recommend this hotel to friends for its location and nice staff.

Maravilloso hotel Muy profesionales.
