The rooms spacious enough for 3 and beautiful. Good location. We had a problem locating since the signage of the hotel is very small and is covered by the stalls on the street. It took us a while to locate since you did not indicate that is inside Guada Hotel which has a very big and visible signage.

It was a great experience, the hotel was really good, clean, close to touristic points, quite quiet and nice. People was friendly and kind.Really good location. They should add TV channels in English or other language than Italian and prepare a breakfast box like other hotels.

I stayed 6 days. It's very well located, and services in general were very satisfactory. It's true, as commented already, the breakfast is not luxurious (the coffee is instant one), but the price considered, it is not at all disappointing.

Excellent location. You step outside the hotel and you're already inside the historical area of Florence and all the sites you intend to visit. The room was small and a bit dark, but clean, functional and comfortable. Breakfast was mostly continental with some additions. Fine, not more than that. Some of the staff were friendly and some less. There is a safe in the room. Over all the value for money was good.

Hotel has very good location - near the city centre and not far from the railwaystation. But it is quite difficult to find it - there is no sign. Tiny lift. We got a double bedded room instead of a twin bedded one. It was corrected the next day only. There is no hook in the bathroom. The breakfast was good but monotonous.

Wanted a hotel close to everything, and found it at Corte dei Medici. Flea market right outside the door, the Duomo is close, about 10 minute walk. To the railroad station it's about a 15 minute walk.

A curate's egg of a hotel; two hotels in one (ours 3*)and the other 2* therefore very difficult to find; some staff very helpful and friendly; Basil Fawlty breakfast provider on two of the 4 days; poor room servicing led to a complaint and substantial bill reduction We might go back and find the place had sorted itself out as very handy for station and centre.

This was a Three Star hotel placed right in the heart of Florence, I was very disappointed to find that unlike all other similar hotels I have visited, this one did not provide clean towels each day nor did it change the bed sheets or clean the room during our four days there; the litter bin, however, was emptied daily so clearly there were staff working. Hard to find, especially as we arrived late at night and the hotel has no sign! (Read other reviews to help you find it). Some very nice staff but still disappointed by one star service as this hotel could have been absolutely first class. Florence is wonderful and the hotel is surrounded by places to eat and drink 'til the early hours. The market adds to the atmosphere and the bells of San Giovanni, just across the road were not really intrusive. If money is tight eat and drink off the tourist route and look for locals in bars, though you still might be given 'tourist' prices.

A beautiful hotel in a perfect location! The room was HUGE and so lovely. Big bathroom, balcony for a late-afternoon wine, everything in great condition. Very quiet at night, couldn't have been better. One slight issue - the breakfast room is small, and can become over-crowded if people don't show up at their preferred time. Only an issue if you have an early booking for a tour or whatever. Plus, one of the staff, who seems to be responsible for organising breakfast, was pretty unfriendly, a bit anal and short-tempered. He was the exception as the rest of the staff seemed really pleasant. The hotel is wonderfully located, only 5 mins from the Duomo in one direction, 5 mins from the railway station in the other. And the San Lorenzo market is right outside the front door!

Our room (Standard double) was in the end very nice and clean. The hotel is situated quite close to the railway station (10min walk) and close to all major sights. The hotel reception doubles as a reception for a two-star hotel in the same building. The 3-star rooms are separated by a electrical sliding door. The difference is apparent, the 3-star area is very well maintained and kept. The breakfast is included, but has to be book the day before (choose your serving time). The breakfast is actually the worst this here, not worth the money. Just outside the building you will find a very busy street market (bazaar). At night this market square is populated by young people, not the best location for a visitor with children. It is by no means unsafe, but quite busy and noisy. The 3-star hotel is a good choice for young adults and couples.

I think the location (near the train station) and being close to the center are the two more important assets. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Maybe a little bit noisy (some young guests sounded extremely excited when they arrived late one night) but otherwise comfortable. All in all I would say that my stay was what I expected, and I would recommend the hotel.

Hotel Corte dei Medici was a very pleasant surprise. The rooms were beautifully renovated and maintained, the staff, extremely pleasant. The level of service from the Hotel was much more comensurate with a 5 star hotel, the front desk incredibly pleasant and offering services of a concierge. It is a very busy area of Florence, literally in the heart of the Old Town so if you are visiting for a holiday, you could not be more centrally located. I stayed at the Hotel for 1 month as I was taking a course that was about a 15 minute walk from the Hotel and really appreciated the ease in which I was then able to sightsee on my time off. I became ill while staying at the Hotel and was also very pleased with their efforts to help me get medical assistance. The breakfast was included in the rate and was good. I would agree with the comments about the Hotel being tricky to find the first time and would advise that one would look for the Hotel Giada, the sister Hotel sign. I've traveled a lot on business and for pleasure and this was my first stay for an extensive period in a 3 star Hotel and I was very concerned after many very nice 4 and 5 star Hotels. This concern was completely unfounded as I loved this Hotel and would absolutely go back.

The triple room was very spacy and clean but the windows were in direction to a busy street. There was noise in the early morning from the market place but that's Italy .... The breakfast was tipically italian. I think I would stay here again.

Loved the location of the hotel. But it was difficult to find as there are very few signs. Locals were great in helping with this problem. It was our first visit, had a difficult time with one of the employees at the desk but otherwise loved our visit.

Nice people, plenty of choice for breakfast. Unusual decoration with restful 'frescoes' and oriental rugs in all rooms. Really good size rooms and ideally located by the Piazza Anfiteatro.

Hotel Corte dei Medici has a very good location, not far from the Duomo. The rooms are nice. We can absolutely recommend this hotel, but be aware that it can be a bit difficult to find (upon arrival), because the entrance is rather anonymous. Ask someone local to point it out for you.
