Hotel Cerretani Firenze - Florence

We had a fantastic stay in Florence. The hotel location was perfect, easy to walk EVERYWHERE! Alberto at the Front Desk was extremely helpful, responding to emails before our visit and suggesting restaurants and other ideas during our stay. Our package included the breakfast buffet, which was more than adequate. The room we were assigned was much larger than we expected. The only problem we had was being on the 4th floor, it was warm. The only way to cool off the room was to open the windows, which made it loud. When the windows were closed it was very quiet, the double windows helped to keep the noise out.

Lovely hotal, staff very helpful. room very spacious and very comfortable bed. The location is perfect next to Duomo, close to the station, 10 mins walk from uffizi, ponte vecchio, near all the museums and areas of interest. I did not take breakfast option as it was too expensive (20 euros pp), there is a nearby cafe (next door) where italians take their breakfast , Cafe Astra al Duomo, breakfast less than 4 euros per person, very fresh croissants, bread and nice coffee.

Not only was the room extremely small but we had a poor view from the room window of A/C vents to the building and a brick wall. The area around an airvent inside the room was spackled but unfinished. In the future we would not pay in advance so that we could verify the room first. I would give the hotel a second chance.

This is no more than a 4 start hotel and for 18 Euros I should have gone out for breakfast. My friends and family all said it is the first and last time we would stay here or recommend it.

Quite good hotel. very near to the duomo square 2 blocks away around 200 meters. short walk to the main landmarks in the city ,longest walk is about 10-15 min to the ponte vechio and palazzo pitti.

Location excellent - very central to all attractions as well as the railway station - restaurant very good - very comfortable hotel
